Fluidized bed granulation dryer is an efficient equipment that integrates mixing, granulation, and drying. Its process flow can be divided into the following key steps:
1. Preheating and fluidization
After loading the material powder into the silo, start the fan and heater to allow clean heated air to enter the container through the sieve plate. The material is fluidized (similar to boiling) under the action of airflow, and preheated to the process set temperature.
2. Spray granulation
Spray the adhesive solution into the fluidized powder in an atomized form through a nozzle. After the droplet comes into contact with the powder, the powder aggregates into particle nuclei through liquid bridging, and gradually grows into porous and uniform particles in continuous fluidization.
3. Synchronous drying
During the granulation process, the fluidized hot air will instantly remove the moisture on the surface of the particles, achieving synchronous drying. The liquid bridges between powders are transformed into solid bridges, ultimately forming particles with good porosity.
4. Subsequent drying and cooling
After the spraying is completed, continue to introduce hot air to evaporate the residual moisture inside the particles until the target drying weight loss is achieved. Then turn off the heating, introduce ambient temperature air to cool the particles, and finally discharge the finished product from the discharge port.
The fluidized bed granulation dryer has the following core advantages:
1. Integrated operation: mixing, granulation, and drying are completed in the same equipment to reduce pollution risks.
2. High particle quality: The obtained particles are porous and uniform, suitable for tablet or capsule filling.
3. Efficient and controllable: By adjusting parameters such as temperature and air volume, the particle characteristics can be precisely controlled.
