The spray dryer for Chinese herbal extracts is a spray drying equipment designed for the preparation of Chinese herbal extracts. The equipment adopts the rotating blade spray technology to spray the extract material through the high-speed rotating spray disk to form small droplets, and then complete drying under the action of hot air to finally obtain the powdered Chinese herbal extract.
The traditional Chinese medicine extract spray dryer is mainly composed of a feeding system, a rotary spray system, a hot air system, a drying tower, a discharge system, and a dust collection system. The traditional Chinese medicine extract of the feeding system is sent to the rotary vane spray system, and the rotary vane spray system disperses the extract into small droplets and fully contacts with the hot air in the drying tower. During this process, hot air is heated by a heat exchanger to form a high-temperature and high humidity airflow, which promotes the rapid evaporation of water in the extract material and ultimately forms a powdered Chinese medicine extract. The discharge system transports the dried traditional Chinese medicine extract particles from the drying tower and collects dust through the dust collection system.
The main features of the spray dryer for Chinese herbal extracts are as follows:
1. The rotary vane spray technology can evenly disperse the extract into small droplets, forming particles with high surface area, greatly improving the drying efficiency.
2. The hot air system uses a heat exchanger for heating, which can effectively improve the utilization rate of heat energy and energy-saving effect.
3. The discharge system adopts pneumatic conveying, which avoids the problems of particle pollution and damage.
4. The system has a high degree of integration, is easy to use, simple to operate, and has a certain degree of automation.
The technological principle of the spray dryer for Chinese herbal extracts is mainly divided into three steps: spray, drying and collection.
1. Spray
The Chinese herbal extracts enter the rotary vane spray system from the feeding system, and disperse into small droplets through the high-speed rotating spray disk. After air compression, the droplets quickly spray out and come into contact with hot air in the drying tower, causing the moisture to evaporate rapidly.
2. Dry
The air heated by the hot air system forms a high-temperature and high humidity airflow, which fully contacts with the paste particles formed by the mist droplets, causing the moisture on the surface of the particles to quickly evaporate and gradually form dry paste powder particles. The dried particles are transported to the collection system through the discharge system.
3. Collect
The dried powder particles of traditional Chinese medicine extract are transported to the dust collection system through the discharge system, where the dust is collected and separated to obtain high-quality and high-precision dried particles of traditional Chinese medicine extract.
