The process principle of single-layer belt dryer can be divided into the following core steps:
1. Material laying
The materials are evenly distributed on the mesh belt through the feeder, and the mesh belt is usually made of 12-60 mesh stainless steel wire mesh to ensure breathability and high temperature resistance.
2. Transmission and Mobility
The mesh belt is driven by a transmission device to move uniformly inside the dryer, and its operating speed can be flexibly adjusted according to the characteristics of the material (such as humidity and temperature), achieving continuous production.
3. Hot air circulation and drying
The dryer consists of multiple independent units, each equipped with an independent hot air circulation system. After being heated by a heater or heat exchanger, the hot air penetrates the material layer on the mesh belt from above or below, completing heat transfer and taking away moisture.
The hot air circulation method is divided into two types: in the upper circulation unit, the hot air passes through the material from bottom to top, and in the lower circulation unit, the hot air flows from top to bottom, both forming a uniform jet flow through the distributor.
4. Moisture removal and exhaust gas control
Part of the exhaust gas with high moisture content is discharged by a dedicated dehumidification fan, while the remaining exhaust gas is controlled by regulating valves to ensure a balance between drying efficiency and energy consumption.
5. Finished product collection
The dried material moves with the conveyor belt to the end and automatically falls into the feeder, achieving continuous discharge.
This process is designed with modular units, controllable hot air circulation, and flexible speed regulation, suitable for efficient and uniform drying of temperature sensitive materials such as drugs and food.
