The drum scraper dryer is a device used for processing high humidity materials. It places the materials inside a rotating drum and contacts them with hot air through the internal scraper, thereby accelerating the drying process of the materials.
The drum scraper dryer is mainly composed of drum, scraper, driving device, heating device, discharge device and other parts. Among them, the drum is the main body for drying materials, and the scraper is used to fully contact the materials with the heated air inside the drum, improving the drying efficiency. The driving device is used to drive the drum to rotate. During the drying process, the residence time and drying degree of the drying material are controlled by adjusting the speed. The heating device provides the necessary hot air for drying, ensuring the stability of the drying process. The feeder is used to take out the dried material from the drum.
The drying principle of the drum scraper dryer is mainly based on the principle of thermal balance, which transfers heat energy to the material and evaporates the moisture in the material, thereby reducing the humidity of the material. Specifically, the interior of the drum is heated by a heating device to preheat materials with high humidity, and the drum rotates to allow the materials to fully contact the hot air. Under the scraping action of the scraper, the surface of the material is continuously cut open, causing the internal moisture to form a water film and fully contact with the hot air. The moisture gradually evaporates in the form of steam. Meanwhile, due to the continuous output of heated air, the low humidity hot air competes with the moisture of the material, thereby further improving the drying speed.
The process flow of the drum scraper dryer mainly includes five parts: feeding, preheating, drying, cooling, and discharging.
Feeding: Place the raw materials with high humidity into the drum of the equipment, and the roller is driven by the driving device to start rotating, preparing to enter the preheating stage.
Preheating: After the drum begins to rotate, start the heating device and pass hot air through the inside of the drum to preheat the material.
Drying: After the material is preheated, the scraper begins to work, fully contacting the material with hot air. Through the driving of the hot air, the moisture in the material gradually evaporates, thus completing the drying process of the material.
Cooling: When the material is dried to a certain degree, the heating device will automatically turn off and the cooling device will be activated to cool the material through the internal "cold air". Unloading: When the material is cooled to a certain temperature, the cooling device will be turned off and the dried material will be discharged through the discharge device.
