The working principle of the rotary flash dryer is that hot air enters from the bottom of the dryer in a tangential direction, forming a high-speed swirling upward airflow. Under the combined action of high-speed swirling airflow and bottom agitator, the agglomerated material is continuously broken, dispersed, boiled, and dried. The materials that have passed the drying process are carried out by the airflow from the upper part of the dryer, while the materials with larger particles or higher humidity are blocked by the grading weir plate on the upper part of the dryer and re enter the dryer to continue drying. This machine can be widely used for dehumidification and drying of rubber and plastic additives, pesticides, pigments, dyes, fine chemicals, feed, pharmaceuticals, and some intermediates.
The main advantages of the rotary flash dryer are:
Efficient heat and mass transfer: The rotary flash dryer uses strong shear, collision, and friction to pulverize the material, enhancing the mass and heat transfer process, making the drying process rapid and efficient.
Wide applicability: This equipment is suitable for drying various materials, including viscous paste like materials and non adhesive granules.
Short material retention time: The short retention time of materials can effectively prevent them from sticking to walls and thermal sensitive materials from deteriorating, while ensuring product quality.
• Significant energy-saving effect: Using high-temperature hot air has high thermal efficiency and significant energy-saving effect.
• Simple structure, easy operation: The device has a small size, simple structure, easy operation, and can achieve automated control.
High production intensity: Due to the rotating flow of gas-solid phases, the inertia of the solid phase is greater than that of the gas phase, and the relative velocity between the solid and gas phases is higher, which enhances the mass and heat transfer between the two phases, resulting in high production intensity.
