The structural principle of large V-type mixer
Date: 2025-02-28Read: 4
A large V-type mixer is a mechanical device that mixes materials of different properties evenly through rotating spiral blades. Its material mixing effect is stable and reliable, with high mixing intensity, short mixing time, and high mixing efficiency.
Large V-type mixers are widely used in industries such as medicine, food, chemical, metallurgical, and building materials for the mixing and uniform mixing of mixed materials. Mainly used for mixing dry materials, granules, powders and other materials, where the properties of the materials involved in the mixing process (such as specific gravity, particle size, material properties, etc.) are not significantly different.
The structural principle of a large V-type mixer:
A large V-type mixer is mainly composed of a barrel body, a rotating shaft, a turntable, a transmission mechanism, a motor, and other parts.
The barrel body is V-shaped, driven by a transmission mechanism to rotate the rotating shaft and inclined plate. Under the action of the inclined plate, the material rolls upwards along the inclined plate, generating strong disturbance and interlocking, thus achieving the purpose of mixing. The mixture is continuously pushed upwards and rolled by the mixing plate under the control of the rotating bucket, and the mixing direction is changed by the rolling to achieve uniform mixing. The mixing film continuously falls into the material and pushes it from the bottom of the bucket to the edge. During this process, the materials were effectively stirred and mixed, thus achieving the mixing process.
In the operation of the mixer, the direction of rotation of the spiral blades should be determined as needed (usually bidirectional rotation) to ensure better mixing of materials. In addition, to ensure the mixing effect, the material should not be too much during operation, generally below 50% of the bucket volume.
