The maintenance of infrared temperature sensors should focus on optical system cleaning, environmental protection, electrical connection testing, and regular calibration. The specific methods are as follows:
1、 Optical system maintenance
1. Lens cleaning: Regularly wipe the lens with a soft cloth or cotton swab dipped in distilled water or alcohol containing optical cleaner to avoid scratching with hard objects; Stubborn stains can be cleaned by soaking in 5%~10% ferric chloride solution and hydrochloric acid, and then rinsed off.
2. Pollution prevention and protection: Install protective covers or sealing materials to isolate pollutants in dust, smoke, or high humidity environments; Dual color infrared sensors can be prioritized for use in dusty environments.
3. Avoid direct exposure to strong light: Do not direct laser light onto the human eye or reflective surface to prevent damage; Do not measure bright metal surfaces (such as stainless steel, aluminum) to avoid reflection interference.
2、 Environmental adaptability management
1. Temperature and humidity control: The recommended working environment temperature is 0 ℃~50 ℃, with humidity below 95% and no condensation; Storage temperature -20 ℃~80 ℃, humidity<90%, no condensation. High temperature scenarios require enhanced heat dissipation or the selection of high-temperature resistant models.
2. Anti freezing and moisture-proof: During outdoor installation in winter, anti freezing measures should be taken for the liquid at the pressure inlet; Use waterproof connectors and tighten them at the wiring points to prevent rainwater from seeping in.
3. Chemical protection: Avoid contact with corrosive gases and prevent sediment deposition on the sensor surface.
3、 Electrical and Connection Inspection
1. Line reliability: Regularly check the connection status of signal and power lines to ensure no looseness, breakage, or corrosion; Use shielded cables to reduce electromagnetic interference.
2. Battery maintenance: When the low battery icon appears on the display screen, replace the battery in a timely manner to prevent data abnormalities caused by unstable power supply.
4、 Calibration and Performance Verification
1. Regular calibration: Calibrate using standard equipment such as blackbody radiation sources to compare the difference between measured values and standard temperatures; When the working temperature exceeds 80% of the range, the calibration time needs to be shortened.
2. Response testing: Place the sensor in an environment with known temperature changes to verify response speed and accuracy, and troubleshoot power or signal line faults in case of abnormalities.
5、 Special scenario maintenance
1. Automotive applications: installed on the upper part of pipelines to avoid liquid impact; Regularly disassemble the sensor, soak it in hydrochloric acid mixture to remove carbon deposits, and ensure that the internal carrier is white.
2. Industrial process: When measuring gas, the pressure port should be facing upwards to prevent liquid accumulation; Avoid direct fluid impact during liquid measurement.
Key preventive measures: When not in use for a long time, power on and dehumidify every week, and store in moisture-proof packaging; Choose the sensor type that is suitable for the working conditions (such as dual color sensors with strong anti pollution properties) and install it strictly according to the specifications.
