1、 Electrical Safety and Wiring
1. Power requirements: Ensure that the power supply voltage is within the range of 18-36V DC, and it is strictly prohibited to use voltages higher than 36V, otherwise it may damage the equipment.
2. Wiring specifications:
Signal lines (such as 4-20mA or RS485) should use shielded twisted pair cables to avoid parallel installation with strong electrical lines and prevent electromagnetic interference.
The wiring terminals should be sealed to prevent moisture, and the threading holes should face downwards or sealed with sealant to prevent liquid infiltration.
2、 Installation and operation
1. Installation location:
When measuring liquid pressure, the pressure tap should be located on the side of the pipeline to avoid sediment accumulation; When measuring gas, it should be installed at the top of the pipeline to prevent liquid accumulation.
Avoid installing in areas with large temperature fluctuations or strong vibrations, and install buffer tubes or heat dissipation devices if necessary.
2. Media compatibility:
The tested medium must not freeze or contain corrosive components (except for special anti-corrosion models), otherwise it may damage the diaphragm.
High temperature media (such as steam) need to be isolated through heat dissipation pipes to prevent direct impact on the sensor.
3、 Maintenance and Calibration
1. Regular calibration: Perform zero and full-scale calibration every 6-12 months, and shorten the cycle in high temperature or vibration environments.
2. Troubleshooting:
When there is no output signal, check the power supply voltage, wiring, and sensor status.
When the signal fluctuates greatly, it is necessary to clean the pressure pipe or add a pulse damper.
4、 Special environmental protection
1. Antifreeze measures: Insulation or heat tracing measures should be taken during outdoor installation to prevent the pressure pipe from freezing and expanding, and damaging the equipment.
2. Explosion proof requirements: When used in hazardous areas, it is necessary to ensure compliance with the explosion-proof level requirements and avoid live lid opening operations.
5、 Other precautions
1. Avoid mechanical damage: It is strictly prohibited for hard objects to collide with the diaphragm or for sharp objects to be inserted into the pressure hole. The flush diaphragm type transmitter needs special protection.
2. Factory reset: Long press specific key combinations (such as M, S, Z keys) to restore default parameters. Please refer to the instruction manual for specific instructions.
