Double layered glass reaction vessels have strict requirements for materials and construction. There are also many issues that need to be noted in use and maintenance:
1、 Before installation and use, carefully inspect the instrument, check whether the glass bottle is damaged, whether the interfaces are compatible, and handle it gently during the process.
2、 When wiping each interface, use a soft cloth (which can be replaced by a napkin), and then apply a small amount of vacuum grease. (After using vacuum grease, be sure to cover it properly to prevent sand and dust from entering.)
3、 The interfaces of the glass reaction kettle should not be tightened too tightly. They should be loosened and activated regularly to avoid long-term locking that may cause the connectors to bite. Especially, the PTFE switches in various places should not be tightened too tightly, otherwise it is easy to damage the glass. After stopping the machine, the switches should be loosened even more.
4、 When using, turn on the power switch first, then let the machine run from slow to fast. When stopping, wait until the machine is in a stopped state before turning off the power.
5、 After use, pay attention to cleaning. After each use, use a soft cloth to wipe off all kinds of oil stains, dirt, and solvent residue left on the surface of the machine, and keep it clean.
6、 Regularly clean the sealing ring by removing it, checking for dirt on the shaft, wiping it clean with a soft cloth, applying a small amount of vacuum grease, and reinstalling it to keep the shaft and sealing ring smooth.
7、 The electrical part must not be exposed to water and must not be affected by moisture. When repairing or inspecting a glass reactor, be sure to first cut off the power and water sources.
8、 Original and authentic accessories must be purchased, and other accessories must not be replaced or used at will to avoid fatal damage to the machine.
9、 When performing any repairs or inspections, the power and water sources of the glass reactor must be cut off first.
10、 After using the glass reactor, it is necessary to wipe off any oil stains, dirt, and solvent residue left on the surface of the machine with a soft cloth and keep it clean.
