In order to extend the service life of the magnetic stirrer, we should regularly maintain it. Below are some daily maintenance items for the magnetic stirrer.
1. Listen to the sound of the reducer and motor to see if it is normal, and touch the driving temperature of various parts such as the reducer, motor, and machine base bearings.
2. Check whether the valves, explosion-proof membranes, pressure gauges, thermometers and other devices are accurate, sensitive and functional, whether the valves and pressure gauges have been calibrated and the lead seals are intact, whether the red line of the pressure gauge is drawn correctly, and whether the explosion-proof membrane is leaking internally.
3. Keep the mixing shaft clean, check whether the rotation direction of the mixing shaft is clockwise for the shaft connected by the round nut, and strictly prohibit reverse rotation.
4. Check if all inlet and outlet valves of the reactor are intact and functional, and promptly address any issues.
5. Check the reactor body for cracks, deformations, bulges, perforations, corrosion, leaks, etc., and ensure that the insulation, paint, etc. are intact and free from detachment or burning.
Instructions for using a heat collecting magnetic stirrer:
1. Connect the power, prepare the cup, open the stainless steel container lid, place the cup in the middle of the stainless steel container, add thermal oil or silicone oil to the appropriate height, and place the stirrer into the cup solution. Turn on the power switch and the indicator light will turn on. Rotate the speed control potentiometer clockwise to increase the mixing speed from slow to fast. Adjust to the required speed.
2. If there is a jumping phenomenon in the mixer during work, please turn off the power and turn it back on. Adjust the speed from slow to fast to restore normal operation.
3. When heating, connect the temperature sensor, clamp the sensor on the bracket, move the bracket so that the temperature sensor head is inserted into the solution by no less than 5 centimeters, but it cannot affect stirring. Turn on the temperature control switch, set the desired temperature, and press the+and - on the temperature controller to set the desired constant temperature. The numerical value displayed on the meter head is the actual temperature in the cup. The heating stops and automatically maintains a constant temperature. The heat collecting magnetic stirrer can continuously heat and maintain a constant temperature for a long time.
