1、 Core design concept of equipment
The SLG series percolation tank adopts a single-layer slender cylindrical cone structure, which enhances the contact efficiency between solvent and medicinal materials through optimized aspect ratio design (usually ≥ 3:1). The core innovation lies in:
Pneumatic slag removal system: equipped with a dual cylinder locking device to solve the leakage problem caused by poor sealing of traditional extraction tanks. The slag removal door is flexible to open and supports manual/pneumatic dual-mode switching.
Distributed solvent diversion: A porous spray pipe is installed at the top to ensure uniform penetration of the solvent into the medicinal layer, avoiding local overload or short circuit phenomena.
Laser punching filter screen: The filter screen adopts digital laser punching technology, and the aperture is arranged in a slender shape, which is not easy to block after long-term use. The filtering accuracy can reach 80 mesh or more.
2、 Working principle and technological advantages
Based on the principle of dynamic percolation, a continuous concentration difference is formed when the solvent flows through the medicinal herbs from top to bottom, promoting efficient dissolution of active ingredients. Compared to static immersion method, its advantages are reflected in:
• Improved extraction efficiency: The continuous flow solvent system can achieve the effect equivalent to dozens of immersions, especially suitable for the extraction of valuable medicinal materials (such as ginsenosides) or low content components (such as flavonoids).
• Reduced solvent consumption: Through the circulation design of high-level tanks and liquid receiving tanks, gradient utilization of solvents is achieved, and the recovery rate of organic solvents such as ethanol can reach over 85%.
Wide adaptability: Supports working pressure range from atmospheric pressure to 0.3MPa, compatible with various processes such as water extraction, alcohol extraction, and acid-base extraction.
3、 Typical application scenarios
Traditional Chinese Medicine Preparations: Suitable for mild extraction of thermosensitive ingredients such as alkaloids and glycosides (such as saikosaponin), avoiding high-temperature damage.
Food additives: used for low-temperature cold extraction of natural pigments (such as gardenia yellow) and spices (such as cinnamon oil) to retain the activity of flavor compounds.
Innovative drug development: With the PLC control system, the percolation rate (0.5-5L/min) and solvent gradient can be accurately adjusted to meet the process development needs from small-scale to pilot scale.
