Full disclosure of daily inspection of blood tube centrifuge
Date: 2025-05-26Read: 6
As an important equipment in the field of medical testing, the stability and accuracy of the blood tube centrifuge directly affect the reliability of experimental results. To ensure that the equipment is in good working condition for a long time, conduct daily inspections. The following are several key areas that need to be focused on:
Starting from the infrastructure is the crucial first step in troubleshooting.Blood tube centrifugeThe motor part needs to be carefully checked for loose, broken or missing fastening screws, and the screws in the same part should maintain a consistent model; At the same time, confirm that the motor lifting ring, fan blade cover, and fan wing accessories are complete and intact. The operating status of the reducer is equally important, and it is necessary to observe whether there is any impact, abnormal vibration, or noise during its operation - these phenomena may indicate internal gear wear or other mechanical failures. Visual inspection of the sieve basket through inspection holes cannot be ignored, with a focus on whether there are any damages, leaks, and whether the spacing between the sieve seams exceeds the limit due to wear or is blocked by foreign objects, affecting the separation effect.
The integrity of the rotor system is particularly critical when turning to the core components in direct contact with the sample. Before each use, the rotor surface should be carefully inspected for cracks, corrosion, or deformation marks, which can seriously threaten safety during high-speed rotation. The matching centrifuge tube sleeve (adapter) must also be strictly adapted to avoid the risk of imbalance caused by the shaking of the centrifuge tube due to excessive clearance. In addition, the integrity of the rotor cover sealing ring directly affects the sealing performance of the equipment. If aging, hardening or damage is found, it should be replaced in a timely manner. For models that require low-temperature environments, it is necessary to specifically verify the temperature control accuracy of the refrigeration system, such as whether it can quickly reach and maintain stable operating conditions when set at 4 ℃.
The maintenance of lubrication systems is often overlooked but crucial. Operators should regularly check whether all oil pressure gauges are in the normal reset state, and clear each lubricating oil circuit and centrifugal liquid conduit in the upper and lower chutes one by one to ensure that there are no blockages. When adding lubricating oil, it is important to measure it appropriately. Excessive amounts may lead to sample leakage and contamination, while insufficient amounts may accelerate component wear and tear. Once signs of oil leakage are detected, the machine must be immediately shut down to investigate the source and prevent further deterioration.
The functional testing phase can intuitively reflect the health status of the equipment. After starting up, let the rotor run at low speed without load for a period of time, during which closely check for any abnormal sounds or obvious vibrations. At this time, vibration analysis instruments can be used to assist in determining whether the values exceed the standard, because continuous excessive vibration not only shortens the service life of the equipment, but also may cause the danger of rotor displacement or even flying off. Rotational speed calibration is also a necessary step, which verifies whether the actual rotational speed is consistent with the set value through professional tools. If the deviation is too large, it will directly affect the effectiveness of blood component separation.
The sample loading specifications are directly related to operational safety. Before each sample addition, it is essential to ensure that the blood volume in all centrifuge tubes is equal, as this physical balance can effectively suppress the shaking generated during operation. If special testing items cannot achieve symmetrical loading, it is recommended to use a balancing block for compensation adjustment. When there is an emergency situation such as sudden abnormal noise, odor diffusion, or liquid leakage in the equipment, the power should be cut off and the operation should be stopped decisively. After a comprehensive investigation and elimination of hidden dangers, the equipment can be restarted.
Through systematic inspection and maintenance of these details, not only can the service life of the blood tube centrifuge be extended, but it can also provide stable and reliable support for clinical diagnosis. If laboratory staff can incorporate the above points into their daily workflow, they can maximize the efficiency of the equipment and contribute to precision medicine.
