Screw vacuum pump is a commonly used tool for vacuuming, which uses a spiral groove and blade rotor structure to create a vacuum by reducing the volume and extracting gas or liquid. Screw vacuum pumps are generally used in laboratories, factories, or other places that require evacuation.
The screw vacuum pump consists of a spiral groove body, blade rotor, and servo motor.
1. Spiral groove body: The groove body of the screw vacuum pump is a shell with spiral grooves, which is installed inside the pump body and continuously rotates.
2. Blade rotor: Blade rotor is the power system of screw vacuum pump, and its material is generally selected as bronze or other metals.
3. Servo motor: The servo motor of the screw vacuum pump serves as the driving force, efficiently rotating the blade rotor to generate negative pressure and evacuate the surrounding environment.
The working principle of a screw vacuum pump is to use a sealed spiral groove and rotor to compress, compact, and cool the air, and then discharge it out of the screw vacuum pump, thereby achieving the pumping effect. The basic working process is as follows:
1. Gas enters the cavity of the screw vacuum pump.
2. The blade rotor and spiral groove rotate, generating air flow along the spiral groove hole.
3. At the same time as entering the rotor, the air is compressed, densified, and cooled.
4. The compressed gas slowly moves forward until the gas is discharged from the screw vacuum pump.
Normally, screw vacuum pumps are used in the following stages:
1. Gas enters the pump body
The gas enters the screw vacuum pump body through the inlet pipeline, is absorbed by the spiral groove, and begins to flow along the groove.
2. Gas is compressed
The gas begins to rotate along the spiral groove, while the blade rotor constantly agitates them. During this process, the gas is compressed, densified, and cooled.
3. Compressed gas emissions
The compressed gas is pushed into the next or higher level vacuum pump or rotor, mixed with more gas and further compressed until the desired vacuum is reached.
4. Extraction successful
Through the above steps, the screw vacuum pump achieves the effect of evacuation.
