1、 Key selection points
First, it is necessary to clarify the processing requirements. If the goal is to preserve the active ingredients of Panax notoginseng, a low-temperature pulverizer should be selected to avoid high-temperature damage to the effective substances; If pursuing fineness, attention should be paid to the crushing principle of the equipment. Secondly, the airtightness and material of the equipment should be examined. Sanqi has a high sugar content and is prone to adhesion. It is recommended to choose a stainless steel model with anti sticking inner wall design and equip it with a pulse dust removal system to reduce losses. In addition, capacity matching is equally important. Small workshops can choose laboratory level equipment, while large-scale production requires matching continuous feeding models to ensure smooth connection between capacity and process.
2、 Operation skills
The preprocessing stage directly affects the crushing effect. Before feeding, it is necessary to clean and dry the roots and stems of Panax notoginseng, and cut them moderately according to the fiber thickness. Coarse materials can easily cause motor overload, and excessive cutting can increase energy consumption. During startup, follow the principle of 'no-load startup - slow feeding - uniform feeding' to avoid instantaneous overload operation. Real time monitoring of current fluctuations is required during operation. If there are abnormal sounds or slow discharge, it may be caused by material compaction, and the machine should be stopped and cleaned in a timely manner. Before shutdown, inert materials must be used to clear the warehouse to prevent residual powder from oxidizing and deteriorating.
3、 Maintenance and safety
Regularly checking the clearance between the graded impellers can ensure stable fineness. It is recommended to use a standard sieve for calibration once every quarter. Transmission components need to be regularly lubricated with food grade grease to avoid metal friction contaminating medicinal materials. Operators must wear dust masks as Sanqi powder is prone to dust and may cause allergies. Explosion proof interfaces should be installed around the equipment, especially when using airflow pulverizers, the oxygen content must be strictly controlled.
