Aluminum foil is a hot stamping material made by directly rolling metal aluminum into thin sheets. Its hot stamping effect is similar to that of pure silver foil, so it is also known as fake silver foil. Aluminum foil has excellent characteristics such as soft texture, good ductility, and high barrier properties. It is used in the packaging industry, but there are also defects such as pinholes and wrinkles. Therefore, quality inspection of aluminum foil is an important task for enterprise quality control. The commonly used instrument for aluminum foil needle hole detection is called the aluminum foil needle hole tester, and its specific operation method is as follows:
Method principle:
Under the specified environment and lightbox light source, observe the number of pinholes and measure their size using the transparency of aluminum foil pinholes.
Observation room and needle hole box:
The schematic diagram of the observation room is shown in Figure 1. The pinhole box is made of wood or iron, and the surface of the pinhole box body is equipped with a 5mm thick frosted glass. The frosted glass surface leaves an inspection surface of not less than 0.1 square meters, and black paper is used to weigh the edges around the inspection surface to block scattered light. The box is equipped with fluorescent lamps, which are evenly distributed inside the box. The illuminance inside the pinhole box is 1200lx~1500lx, and the transmitted illuminance through the frosted glass is about 1000lx. The light is evenly distributed on the detection surface, and the ambient illuminance is 20lx~50lx.
