A crusher is a mechanical device that crushes large-sized solid raw materials to the required size. The crusher is composed of coarse crushing, fine crushing, and wind conveying devices, which achieve the purpose of the crusher through high-speed impact. Utilizing wind energy to produce powder in one go eliminates the traditional screening process. Mainly used in various industries such as mining and building materials.
Principles for selecting crushing machinery:
1. Master the properties of materials and the requirements for crushing. Including relevant data on the original shape, size, hardness, toughness, grindability, and abrasiveness of the crushed material. At the same time, have a comprehensive understanding of the particle size and distribution of the crushed products, as well as the requirements for the production rate, expected output, energy consumption, wear degree, and footprint of the crusher
2. Reasonably design and select the crushing process and crushing machinery. The correct selection of crushing machinery according to requirements is an important step in completing the crushing operation, such as using crushing stages, open or closed, dry or wet methods, etc. For example, when dealing with highly abrasive materials, it is not advisable to use high-speed impact mills to avoid the use of expensive wear-resistant materials; When dealing with non abrasive materials and when the particle size requirement is not particularly fine (such as greater than 100 μ m), it is not necessary to use high-energy airflow mills, but to choose low-energy mechanical mills. If a classifier can be further configured, it can not only avoid over crushing but also increase production.
3. Thorough system design. A comprehensive crushing process design must systematically consider the entire project. In addition to the main structure of the crusher, other supporting facilities such as feeding devices and metering, grading devices, dust and product collection, metering packaging, noise reduction measures, etc. must be fully paid attention to. It should be noted that crushing operations are often a source of dust pollution in factories, and if possible, the entire system operates under micro negative pressure.
