How to adjust the pressure of the thin film regulating valve? This article provides information on
Date: 2025-08-04Read: 7
The KSV-R membrane regulating valve can achieve the function of opening and closing the gas circuit, and can be used as a gas circuit switch. This valve has the characteristics of simple structure and flexible action, and can be directly installed on pipelines.
The pressure regulation of pneumatic diaphragm regulating valve is mainly achieved through the following steps:
1. Zero position calibration of locator
Firstly, check the zero position indication on the locator. When the input signal is 4mA (0% opening), if the pressure gauge pointer does not return to zero, it needs to be calibrated through the zero position adjustment disc inside the locator.
The pressure of the gas source should be maintained within the range of 0.2~0.3 MPa, which is the basic condition for regulation.
2. Adjustment of spring preload force
By rotating the adjusting nut, the compression of the spring can be changed: clockwise rotation increases the preload (increases the outlet pressure), counterclockwise rotation decreases the pressure.
It is recommended to use tools such as hex wrenches for fine-tuning to avoid excessive force that may cause damage to components.
3. Feedback signal debugging
The circuit board inside the locator junction box usually has setting keys and up/down keys, which require multi-point calibration of key signal points such as 4mA and 16mA.
During debugging, the signal strength should be gradually increased, and the corresponding relationship between the valve stem stroke and pressure changes should be observed.
4. Strength testing and stability
After completing the adjustment, slowly open the valve and observe the pressure gauge reading in real time. Through multiple adjustments, stabilize the pressure at the set value.
Pay special attention to avoiding pressure fluctuations caused by rapid adjustment, which may affect system safety.

Attention:
Before adjustment, it is necessary to ensure that the valve is leak free and the medium inside the pipeline is in a stable state.
For regulating valves with manual function, you can first switch to manual mode for preliminary adjustment, and then switch back to automatic mode for fine adjustment.
In high-temperature or corrosive media environments, it is recommended to regularly check the condition of seals and springs.
