The precautions for using high-speed tube separators mainly include the following aspects to ensure safe and efficient operation:
1. Preparation before operation:
Check the equipment status, such as whether there are cracks in the casing, whether the bolts are tightened, and whether the tension of the drive belt is appropriate to prevent vibration or component detachment during operation.
Ensure that the separator is placed on a stable and sturdy ground, and use anchor bolts to secure large equipment to avoid tipping over.
Clean the inside of the drum, remove residual debris, and lubricate key parts such as bearings to reduce friction losses.
2. Material addition and operation control:
The material needs to be pre treated with a solid content of less than 0.5% to remove large particle impurities to prevent clogging of the drum.
Add slowly and evenly during feeding, control the feeding pressure and speed (such as pressure not less than 0.05Mpa), and avoid vibration caused by uneven material distribution.
Strictly follow the equipment manual to set the speed and operating time, and prohibit overspeed operation to prevent the drum from breaking; Monitor the instrument during operation and immediately shut down for inspection if any abnormalities are found.
3. Shutdown and disassembly:
After shutting down, wait for the machine to completely stop (about 7 minutes) before operating the components.
When disassembling the drum, first loosen the pressure cap, remove solid substances, and take protective measures; Ensure that the drum is aligned with the bottom shaft during installation, and apply lubricant to the threads.
After the operation is completed, thoroughly clean the interior, use cleaning agents or water to remove residues, and record the cleaning date.
4. General points for safety and maintenance:
The use of the rotary head should not exceed the maximum allowable speed and cumulative limit to avoid the risk of deceleration; Loading centrifuge tubes requires precise balancing, with a weight difference within the range specified in the manual, and the number of tubes placed symmetrically.
Pre cooling rotor during low-temperature centrifugation; The motor wiring should comply with the nameplate instructions, and the protective cover should not be installed before starting up.
Regularly check the accuracy of components, use qualified accessories, and cut off the power when not in use for a long time.
