1、 Equipment preparation
1. Equipment inspection
Confirm that the appearance and internal structure of the equipment (microwave cavity, conveyor belt, microwave generator) are undamaged, and the sealing components are intact.
Clean the microwave cavity and conveyor belt residue to ensure there are no impurities or metal foreign objects (to avoid safety hazards caused by microwave reflection).
Check if the microwave generator, magnetron, and waveguide system are functioning properly and if the power grounding is reliable.
2. Environment and Safety
Ensure that there are no strong electromagnetic interference sources around the equipment and good ventilation.
Operators are required to wear protective equipment such as radiation goggles and gloves.
2、 Startup and parameter settings
1. Start the process
Connect the main power supply and sequentially turn on the control panel power supply, conveyor belt drive system, and microwave generator.
Preheat the microwave system (about 5-10 minutes) to ensure stable output of the magnetron.
2. Parameter adjustment
Microwave power: Set the power in stages based on material characteristics such as moisture content and thermal sensitivity to avoid local overheating.
Conveyor speed: Adjust the conveyor belt speed to control the residence time of materials in the microwave cavity.
Auxiliary parameters: If equipped with a hot air circulation system, synchronously set the inlet air temperature and dehumidification frequency.
3、 Feeding and operation monitoring
1. Material loading
The materials should be evenly spread on the conveyor belt to avoid stacking or obstruction, ensuring microwave penetration.
Start the conveyor belt and observe the smoothness of the material entering the microwave cavity to prevent jamming.
2. Process monitoring
Real time monitoring: Track the drying status of materials through observation windows or sensors, and record changes in temperature and humidity.
Exception handling: If sparks (metal foreign objects) or conveyor belt stagnation are found, immediately turn off the microwave and troubleshoot.
4、 Shutdown and maintenance
1. Normal shutdown
Gradually reduce the microwave power to zero and turn off the microwave generator.
After the conveyor belt is emptied of materials, turn off the conveyor belt and power.
2. Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the microwave cavity, conveyor belt, and filter residue to avoid corrosion or dust accumulation.
Regularly check the lifespan of the magnetron, waveguide sealing, and electrical circuits, and record maintenance logs.
3. Precautions
Safety protection: Do not open the protective door while the microwave is running to avoid microwave leakage.
Material compatibility: Only handle microwave compatible materials (such as food and medicinal materials), metal or metal containing packaging materials are strictly prohibited from use.
Parameter optimization: When using new materials for the first time, it is recommended to conduct small-scale experiments to determine the optimal power and time combination.
