The laboratory environmental conditions have a certain impact on the quality of the results. Corresponding environmental control measures should be taken to ensure that the environmental conditions do not have adverse effects on the inspection and testing results. Bo Tai editor will introduce relevant knowledge to everyone.
1、 Basic environmental parameter control
1. Temperature and humidity requirements
The regular laboratory temperature is 16 ℃~26 ℃, and the humidity is 30%~65%. Special laboratories need to be strictly regulated according to standards.
2. Air quality
General areas must comply with indoor air quality standards. For places involving toxic gases/dust, pathogenic microorganisms, or animal experiments, relevant regulations for occupational health, biosafety, and animal experiments must be implemented separately.
2、 Safety and protective facilities
1. Safety facilities
Equipped with ventilation system, fire prevention equipment and first aid facilities. The chemical laboratory needs to independently set up a waste liquid collection system and entrust professional treatment.
2. Pollution prevention and control
The experimental area, office area, and different testing project areas need to be physically isolated. Precision instruments and chemical analysis areas need to be separated to avoid the influence of corrosive gases.
3、 Functional area planning
1. Space layout
Public area passages and bathrooms. Auxiliary areas: archives room, storage room. Core areas: sample processing area, analysis and testing area, data processing area.
2. Equipment and Operating Standards
The placement of instruments and equipment should be easy to operate, and laboratories should not be used as office spaces. Large precision instrument rooms should be equipped with transition rooms for changing clothes and shoes.
4、 Environmental interference control
1. Electromagnetic and Static Electricity
Sensitive equipment needs to be equipped with electromagnetic shielding facilities, anti-static workbenches, and grounding devices.
2. Noise and vibration
The noise level in the detection area is ≤ 55dB (A), and the power equipment needs to be insulated and noise reduced. Precision instruments need to be isolated from vibration sources and equipped with vibration isolation tables/foundations.
5、 Lighting and environmental requirements
1. Lighting standards
The average illuminance of the experimental table is ≥ 300lx, the uniformity is ≥ 0.7, and direct glare should be avoided.
2. Environmental protection measures
Waste gas/wastewater needs to be treated with activated carbon adsorption, photocatalytic oxidation, etc. to meet the standards before being discharged. New or renovated laboratories need to control the concentration of pollutants such as formaldehyde and benzene.
6、 Management and Maintenance
1. Environmental monitoring
Key parameters need to be monitored and recorded in real time, and an environmental management system should be established to clarify the process for handling abnormal situations.
2. Personnel Standards
Experimental personnel are required to wear specialized protective equipment, and are prohibited from bringing unrelated items into the experimental area. The laboratory must be kept clean to reduce dust.
