The construction of a constant temperature and humidity laboratory must meet the following core requirements, including environmental control, building structure, equipment selection, and safety regulations:
1、 Environmental control requirements
1. Temperature and humidity accuracy: The basic accuracy should reach ± 0.5 ℃ for temperature and ± 2% RH for humidity; High precision laboratories (such as metrology calibration) require temperature ± 0.1 ℃ and humidity ± (1-2)% RH. The fluctuation range of temperature and humidity needs to be strictly controlled, such as daily temperature fluctuation of ≤± 2 ℃ and humidity of ≤± 5% RH.
2. Uniformity and stability: Temperature difference at each point in the space is ≤ 0.5 ℃, humidity difference is ≤ 2% RH, fluctuation value temperature is ≤± 0.5 ℃, humidity is ≤± 5%.
3. Air cleanliness: An efficient filtration system (such as HEPA/ULPA filters) is required, and the airflow organization should ensure uniform distribution to avoid local temperature and humidity deviations.
2、 Architectural and Layout Requirements
1. Site selection and structure:
Stay away from seismic sources, strong magnetic fields, and pollution sources, with a building height of ≥ 2.8 meters.
The walls/ceilings are made of insulation and moisture barrier materials (such as color steel composite panels+PE insulation layer), and doors and windows require double-layer vacuum glass with minimal quantity.
2. Functional partition:
Divide the experimental area, equipment area, buffer room, etc., and avoid laying indoor water supply and drainage pipelines when building a new laboratory.
The standard curing room needs to be divided into an operation room and a maintenance room, with an area of ≥ 15 square meters.
3、 Key equipment configuration
1. Air conditioning system:
The core is precision air conditioning, with priority given to using chilled water units (low failure rate), supporting multi-functional integration of refrigeration, humidification, and dehumidification.
Equipped with real-time monitoring and automatic adjustment system, with alarm function and data traceability capability.
2. Humidification and dehumidification: Ultrasonic or steam humidification equipment is used, combined with efficient dehumidification modules.
4、 Safety and energy-saving design
1. Safety regulations:
Disable sprinkler fire protection system, recommend gas fire extinguishing device;
The electrical system is independently grounded and equipped with an emergency stop button.
2. Energy saving measures:
Adopting heat recovery technology, phased operation strategy, or renewable energy.
5、 Industry specific requirements
1. Textile testing: Follow ISO 139/GB6529 standard, temperature 20 ± 2 ℃, humidity 65 ± 2% RH.
2. Precision manufacturing industry: temperature range of 18-30 ℃, humidity range of 45-70%.
3. Drug research: Low temperature environment needs to be maintained at 12-18 ℃.
Acceptance and maintenance: After completion, comprehensive testing of temperature and humidity control accuracy is required. Daily maintenance includes regular calibration of sensors, replacement of filter components, and checking system stability.
