Spiral belt mixer is a mixing equipment that can be widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, and light industry. It mixes powders, particles, and liquids evenly through double helix foaming and forced stirring. Therefore, the screw belt mixer has the characteristics of high mixing efficiency, short mixing time, good mixing effect, and easy operation, and has become one of the important equipment in modern industrial production.
The screw belt mixer is mainly composed of a frame, a discharge port, a feed port, a spindle, a double helix mixer, etc.
The mixing process principle of the screw belt mixer mainly includes the following steps:
1. Feed material
After being crushed or screened, the material is added to the mixer through the feeding port.
2. Pre mixed
When the mixer rotates, materials will flip, hit, and collide with each other. During this process, the distribution and morphology of the materials will change, thereby achieving a preliminary mixing effect.
3. Spiral foaming
In the mixing process of the spiral mixer, the double helix mixer continuously injects gas into the material from the direction of the double helix. When tiny gas bubbles enter the material, the double helix initial layer of the double helix mixer begins to form a loop, mixing the gas with the material. The presence of bubbles increases the surface area of the material, which is beneficial for better dispersion and mixing of various components in the material.
4. Uniform mixing
The function of the double helix mixer in the spiral belt mixer is to continuously lift the material upwards. As it continues to lift upwards, the material will hang in the center and form a thin layer, which is then forcibly mixed. This process is called uniform mixing.
5. Discharge material
After the mixing is completed, the material is discharged through the discharge port to complete the entire mixing process.
