What are the precautions for using a dust-free feeding station?
Date: 2025-12-31Read: 4
When operating a dust-free feeding station, safety and standardization are key. The following are specific precautions:
1、 Preparation before operation
Equipment inspection: Confirm that the sealing strip is intact, the filter element is clean, the dust removal system is unobstructed, the weighing sensor is zeroed, and the electrical system is reliably grounded (grounding resistance ≤ 4 Ω).
Environmental preparation: The feeding area should be kept away from flammable and explosive materials, ventilated and dry, and operators should wear dust masks, goggles, protective clothing, and cut resistant gloves.
Material pretreatment: Bagged materials need to be unpacked in advance, while bulk materials are connected to the feeding port through a screw/pneumatic conveyor to avoid collision with equipment.
2、 Feeding operation process
Start up phase: Turn on the dust removal fan and vibrating screen, set the fan frequency (1500-2500m ³/h) and feeding speed (adjusted according to material fluidity), and monitor pressure and temperature parameters in real time through PLC.
Feeding process: Slowly pour the material into the feeding chamber. The large bag of material should be fixed to the bag clamp, and the small bag of material should be poured at a constant speed after tearing open the packaging. When approaching the preset weight, slow down in advance to avoid excessive overflow.
End processing: After the feeding is completed, close the feeding port and start the automatic blowback system to clean the dust accumulation in the filter element. After the dust concentration drops to the safe range (≤ 10mg/m ³), clean the residual materials on the feeding area and equipment surface.
3、 Key points of maintenance and upkeep
Daily maintenance: Clean the feeding port, hopper, and conveying pipeline daily, check the wear of seals/filters, lubricate moving parts such as bearings and gears, record feeding time, material type, and abnormal conditions.
Regular maintenance: Check the electrical circuit and sensor accuracy every week, replace the filter element and calibrate the weighing system every month, test the emergency stop button and safety barrier function every quarter, and conduct comprehensive equipment maintenance every year.
Troubleshooting: Stop the machine immediately in case of material blockage, abnormal noise, or alarm prompts. Check for issues such as clogged vibrating screen, damaged filter element, and motor overload. Regularly clean the filtration system to prevent dust accumulation.
4、 Personnel qualifications and operating standards
Personnel qualifications: Operators must be trained and qualified, familiar with equipment principles and dust protection knowledge, wear clean clothing that meets the requirements (such as jumpsuits and dust-free shoes), and are prohibited from wearing jewelry or leaving long nails (to avoid contaminating materials or scratching material packaging).
Core operation process: The operation core of the dust-free feeding station is a continuous process of "sealing unpacking → negative pressure feeding → material conveying", which needs to be strictly executed according to the steps to minimize dust leakage.
5、 Cleaning after feeding
Internal cleaning of equipment: Close the discharge valve, keep the negative pressure system running, use clean compressed air (filtered) to blow the inner wall of the feeding bin, observation window, and discharge port, and suck residual dust into the vacuum filter element; When blowing, avoid the sealing strip (to avoid damaging the sealing performance).
Empty packaging bag handling: Collect the empty packaging bags in a dedicated sealed bag (to avoid the spread of dust carried by the empty bags), and dispose of them uniformly after the feeding is completed (such as recycling according to hazardous waste/solid waste classification).
