Analysis of daily maintenance details of solid feeding device for reaction kettle

Solid feeding device for reaction kettleIt is a key equipment in the production process of industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, and new materials, used to safely, accurately, and efficiently feed solid materials such as powders and particles into reaction vessels. The reliability of its operation directly affects production efficiency, product quality, and operational safety. To ensure the long-term stable operation of the device, it is necessary to establish and implement a scientific maintenance system. The following are detailed maintenance tasks for this type of device:
1、 Daily maintenance (per shift or per day)
Visual inspection:
Appearance inspection: Check the overall structure of the equipment for deformation, cracks, rust, and whether the connecting bolts and anchor bolts are loose.
Sealing inspection: Focus on checking the feeding port cover plate, flange connection, and soft connection (such as corrugated pipe) for signs of material leakage and dust dispersion. This is the key to preventing environmental pollution and ensuring the health of operators.
Pipeline inspection: Check if the material conveying pipeline (if any) is unobstructed and if there are any signs of blockage.
Running status monitoring:
Operating noise: Start the equipment (such as agitator blades, lifting mechanisms, vacuum systems) and listen for any abnormal friction, impact, or sharp noise.
Vibration situation: Check whether the vibration of the equipment during operation is within the normal range. Abnormal vibration may indicate bearing damage or component looseness.
Execution mechanism action: Observe whether the pneumatic/electric valves, lifting cylinders, locking devices, and other actions are smooth and in place, and whether there is any jamming or response delay.
Cleaning work:
External cleaning: Clean the material dust and oil stains on the surface of the equipment to keep it clean.
Internal cleaning (according to process requirements): After the batch production is completed, clean the parts that come into contact with the material, such as the feeding hopper, the inner wall of the silo, and the stirring blade, according to the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) to prevent cross contamination or blockage caused by material residue.

2、 Regular maintenance of solid feeding device for reaction kettle (weekly/monthly)
Lubrication and maintenance:
Lubrication point inspection: According to the equipment lubrication chart, inspect all lubrication points (such as bearings, gears, screws, chains, guides, etc.).
Add/replace lubricant: Add lubricating oil or grease according to the specified brand and cycle. For high-speed or heavy-duty components, it is necessary to ensure sufficient lubrication; For food/pharmaceutical grade applications, it is necessary to use food grade lubricants that meet the requirements.
Fastener inspection:
Inspect and tighten all visible bolts and nuts, especially those that are subjected to vibration and impact.
Transmission system inspection:
Chain/Belt: Check the tightness and wear of the chain, the tension of the belt, and whether there are cracks. Adjust or replace if necessary.
Gearbox: Check if the oil level is normal, if there is any oil leakage, and if the oil quality has deteriorated.
Pneumatic/Hydraulic System Inspection (if applicable):
Check the drainage of the pneumatic triple components (filter, pressure reducing valve, oil mist device) and regularly drain the accumulated water in the filter.
Check the trachea and joints for aging, cracking, and air leakage.
Check if the cylinder and solenoid valve are functioning properly.
Electrical system inspection:
Check the wiring terminals inside the control cabinet for looseness, overheating, and oxidation.
Check if the emergency stop button, limit switch, and sensors (such as level gauges and pressure sensors) are functioning properly.
3、 Quarterly/annual maintenance (during downtime and major repairs)
Comprehensive disassembly inspection:
Disassemble and inspect key components such as spindle bearings, seals, and mixing blades, assess wear levels, and replace them if necessary.
Clean the dead corners inside the equipment, especially the parts that are prone to material accumulation.
Seal replacement:
Regularly replace vulnerable seals, such as the sealing ring of the feeding port and the shaft seal (mechanical seal or packing seal), to ensure long-term reliable sealing.
Calibration and Testing:
Calibrate the weighing system (if the device integrates weighing function) to ensure feeding accuracy.
Perform functional testing on safety interlock devices (such as failure to start if the cover plate is not tightly closed, prohibition of feeding when the pressure inside the kettle is high, etc.) to ensure their effectiveness.
Corrosion prevention and paint repair:
Treat the rust spots on the surface of the equipment and apply anti-corrosion paint to extend the service life of the equipment.
Recording and evaluation:
Detailed records of all maintenance activities, replacement parts, identified issues, and corresponding solutions.
Based on maintenance records, evaluate the overall condition of the equipment, predict potential failures, and provide a basis for the next year's maintenance plan and spare parts procurement.
Maintenance precautions:
Safety regulations: All maintenance work must be carried out after the equipment is shut down, powered off, depressurized, and the lockout and tagout procedures are performed.
Use original spare parts: When replacing spare parts, priority should be given to using original or equivalent quality substitutes to ensure equipment performance and safety.
Professional training: Maintenance personnel should have received professional training and be familiar with equipment structure and principles.
Preventive maintenance: Establish a preventive maintenance (PM) plan, shift from passive maintenance to proactive maintenance, and minimize unexpected downtime.
