1、 Preparation before operation
1. Equipment inspection
Confirm that the power cord, control cabinet, and heating system of the calcination machine are not damaged, and that all components are securely connected.
Check the sealing of the furnace door and the smoothness of the trolley track to avoid material leakage or jamming during the calcination process.
Observe whether the lifting steel cable (if any) is normal, without wear or breakage.
2. Material preparation
Spread the medicinal herbs/materials to be calcined evenly in the drying tray of the trolley to avoid excessive accumulation that affects the uniformity of heating.
3. Personnel protection
Operators are required to wear heat-resistant gloves, protective goggles, and heat-resistant work clothes.
2、 Operation process
1. Start the device
Connect the power and turn on the main switch of the control cabinet, ensuring that the power indicator light is on.
Push the loading trolley into the furnace along the track, close the furnace door, and confirm the sealing.
2. Parameter settings
Set the target temperature (usually 300-800 ℃), calcination time, and heating rate through the control panel.
Start a multi-stage PID temperature control program to achieve a stepped heating process (such as slow heating in the initial stage to prevent material cracking).
3. Heating and Monitoring
Turn on the heating system and observe the real-time data on the temperature display screen to ensure that the temperature rise conforms to the set curve.
Monitor the material status through observation windows or sensors, adjust the air supply volume or temperature adjustment knob to maintain stability.
4. Waste gas treatment
Activate the exhaust gas purification device to ensure that the flue gas generated from calcination meets the emission standards after treatment.
5. Shutdown and Cooling
After calcination is completed, turn off the heating system and open the furnace heat dissipation port to accelerate cooling.
After the temperature inside the furnace drops below 80 ℃, open the furnace door and take out the trolley to avoid high-temperature burns.
3、 Safety precautions
1. Operating standards
It is strictly prohibited to exceed the temperature or run beyond the time limit to avoid equipment overheating and causing malfunctions.
During the calcination process, operators need to stay away from high-temperature areas and observe the equipment status through a remote monitoring system.
2. Emergency response
If the device vibrates abnormally or loses control of temperature, immediately press the emergency stop button and cut off the power.
When electrical faults such as leakage and odor are discovered, it is forbidden to disassemble them by oneself and they must be repaired by professional personnel.
4、 Maintenance and upkeep
1. Daily cleaning
Clean the residue in the furnace after each use and keep the trolley track clean and lubricated.
2. Regular inspection
Check the status of heating elements, thermocouples, and sealing rings monthly, and replace aging components in a timely manner.
Calibrate temperature sensors and temperature control instruments quarterly to ensure accuracy error of ≤ ± 5 ℃.
3. Long term discontinuation
Cut off the power and perform moisture-proof treatment on the furnace to prevent metal parts from rusting.
