The principle and characteristics of qDrop-100 digital PCR system
Date: 2024-12-13Read: 6
1、 Principle of qDrop-100 Digital PCR System Technology
Digital PCR (dPCR) technology is currently an advanced third-generation absolute quantification technique for nucleic acid molecules. The basic principle is to uniformly disperse the PCR reaction system into tens of thousands of independent reaction units, and after amplification, perform Poisson distribution statistical analysis on the fluorescence signals of each reaction unit. Compared to gPCR, digital PCR can directly count the number of DNA molecules and has the characteristics of high sensitivity and absolute quantification.
2、 System Introduction
The qDrop-100 digital PCR system includes a droplet generator and a droplet reader. Adopting the core technology of droplet generation with independent intellectual property rights, we have innovatively developed droplet generation chips and digital PCR systems, which are characterized by simple operation, high sensitivity, and high throughput.
3、 Product Features
Easy to operate: No droplet transfer manual operation
High throughput: compatible with 96 well plates
Low cost: lower instrument and consumable costs
