Ampoule leak detector is a device used to test the sealing integrity of ampoules (a common injection glass container), which is crucial for ensuring the quality and safety of drugs or sterile liquid preparations.
The usage method of ampoule leak detection machine usually follows the following steps:
1. Sample preparation: Place the ampoule sample into the liquid container in the vacuum chamber of the sealed tester, ensuring that the top of the sample is covered with liquid, but the coverage height should not be less than 1 inch.
2. Equipment operation: Cover the vacuum chamber, close the air valve, and then start the vacuum pump to slowly increase the pressure gauge until the desired vacuum level is reached.
3. Vacuum degree selection: The selected vacuum degree should be as high as possible to ensure the sensitivity of the test, but consideration should be given to the fragility and expansion of the packaging, as well as the vapor pressure of the liquid.
4. Observing bubbles: When the vacuum degree increases, observe whether there are bubbles ejected from the ampoule of the sample. The generation of these bubbles can indicate the presence of leaks.
5. Maintain vacuum: After reaching the desired vacuum level, maintain a vacuum state for a certain period of time, which can be determined by the testing personnel based on testing requirements and product characteristics.
6. End of test: After maintaining the vacuum for a certain period of time, release the vacuum, open the vacuum chamber lid, and check if there is any test solution seeping into the sample, which can further confirm the presence of leakage.
7. Result judgment: Based on the observed bubbles and the infiltration of the test solution, determine whether the sealing performance of the ampoule meets the requirements.
