The dual filter mainly consists of a filter housing, filter element/bag, switching valve, pressure gauge and differential pressure gauge, filtration chamber, sealing components, and control system. Its core structure includes two parallel arranged filtration chambers, each equipped with independent inlet and outlet valves, which can be replaced or cleaned without stopping the machine, ensuring the continuous operation of the system
The main structure of the dual filter:
Pressure gauge and differential pressure gauge: used to monitor the pressure and differential pressure at the inlet and outlet of the filter. When the differential pressure reaches the preset value, it indicates the need to replace or clean the filter element.
Filtering chamber: including a working chamber and a backup chamber. The working chamber filters during normal operation, while the backup chamber takes over the filtering task when the working chamber needs to be cleaned or the filter element needs to be replaced.
Sealing components: including sealing rings and gaskets, ensure the sealing between the filter housing and the pipeline to prevent leakage.
Control system: including a controller and sensors, used to automatically control the switching of valves and achieve automatic switching function.
Filter housing: Usually made of stainless steel or carbon steel, it has strong corrosion resistance and can withstand high pressure and high temperature. The shell is equipped with inlet and outlet ports for connecting upstream and downstream pipelines, as well as a discharge port for discharging impurities and sewage generated during the cleaning process.
Filter cartridge/filter bag: typically a microporous filter cartridge or filter bag with pore sizes ranging from 0.1 micrometers to 5 micrometers, used to remove small particles and colloids from liquids.
Switching valves: including three-way or four-way valves, used to switch the liquid flow path between two filtering chambers, which can be manual, pneumatic, or electric.
Dual filters are widely used in multiple fields, including but not limited to:
Petrochemical industry: Filter weakly corrosive materials such as water, ammonia, oil, etc.
Fine chemicals: Filter corrosive materials such as caustic soda, concentrated and dilute sulfuric acid, etc.
Refrigeration industry: Filter low-temperature materials such as liquid methane, liquid ammonia, etc.
Hydraulic system: used to filter hydraulic oil and other fluids to ensure stable operation of the system.
Industrial quenching oil cooling system: Filter quenching oil and other cooling fluids to improve system efficiency.
RO security filtration: used for pre-treatment of reverse osmosis systems to ensure pure water quality.
Pre treatment of seawater desalination: Filter impurities in seawater to improve desalination efficiency.
Light and pharmaceutical industries: Filter food, beverages, dairy products, etc. to ensure product hygiene and quality.
