1、 Equipment Overview
Food metal detector (metal detection machine) is a high-precision detection equipment based on electromagnetic induction principle, mainly used for non-destructive detection of metal foreign objects (such as iron, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, etc.) in food production lines. Its core function is to identify metal impurities, avoid contaminating food products, and ensure that products comply with national food safety standards (such as HACCP, ISO 22000). It is widely used in industrial production scenarios of meat products, baked goods, dairy products, seasonings, and packaged foods.
2、 Core Technology Highlights
1. High sensitivity detection capability
Using multi frequency electromagnetic field technology, it can detect metal particles (ferromagnetic substances) with a minimum diameter of 0.3 mm and non ferromagnetic metals (such as copper and aluminum) with a diameter of 0.5 mm, covering all types of metal foreign objects for screening.
Equipped with automatic phase compensation function, effectively suppressing environmental electromagnetic interference and reducing false alarm rate.
2. Intelligent sorting system
After detecting metal foreign objects, the equipment automatically triggers the removal device (such as pneumatic push rod, flipping mechanism), synchronously records abnormal data, and achieves production batch traceability.
Support linkage with production line PLC to seamlessly connect filling, sealing and other processes, ensuring continuous and efficient operation of the assembly line.
3. Anti pollution design
The detection channel is made of food grade stainless steel or polymer materials, with a smooth and easy to clean surface to prevent microbial growth.
Waterproof and dustproof rating of IP65 or above, suitable for high temperature and high pressure cleaning environment, meeting the hygiene standards of food factories.
3、 Typical application scenarios
• Meat processing: detect metal debris (such as tool wear residue) in minced meat and sausages;
• Baked food: check the metal wires, screws and other foreign matters in flour and biscuits;
• Frozen food: Conduct final inspection for metal impurities in frozen dumplings and pre made dishes;
Packaging finished products: Scan for metal contamination on the sealing caps or packaging films of canned beverages and vacuum bagged food.
The food inspection machine has become the core defense line for quality control in food enterprises by integrating high-precision sensing technology and intelligent control systems, building a full process safety barrier for consumers from raw materials to finished products.
