1、 Fault status: Honey pill becomes hard
Reason for malfunction: Insufficient honey usage; Honey temperature is relatively low; Honey refining is too old; Some drugs containing a high proportion of glue tend to have a high honey temperature when combined, causing them to melt and solidify
Solution: Use enough honey and adjust the honey temperature to an appropriate level, and control the degree of honey refining appropriately
2、 Fault status: wrinkled skin
Reason for malfunction: It may be due to excessive water in the honey refining process, as the honey pills shrink after the water evaporates; If the packaging is not tight, the honey pills will absorb moisture during hot and humid seasons, causing water evaporation and repeated swelling and shrinking of the honey pills; It may also be due to improper use of lubricants.
Solution: Refine the honey to a certain extent and control the moisture content appropriately; Strengthen packaging to make it tight, preferably using wax shell packaging; The lubricant used is suitable and uniform
3、 Fault status: Surface roughness
Reason for malfunction: The medicine contains a high amount of fibers; Excessive mineral or shellfish drugs in the medicinal material; The medicine powder is too coarse; The amount of honey added is small and not mixed properly; Insufficient lubricant usage
Solution: Grind the medicinal material finer, increase the amount of honey used, reduce the moisture content of honey, and provide sufficient lubricant to solve the problem. Fiber rich and mineral rich medicinal flavors can also be extracted, concentrated into a thick paste, and mixed into honey.
4、 Fault status: moldy or insect infested
Reason for malfunction: Unclean processing of medicinal materials, residual bacteria or insect eggs, etc; Or it may be bacterial contamination during the crushing, screening, blending, pill making, and packaging of traditional Chinese medicine; or it may be contamination during storage due to inadequate packaging.
Solution: Strictly follow hygiene standards to prevent the introduction or re contamination of bacteria and insect eggs.
