Key parameters and different configuration options that need to be determined when customizing a kneading machine:

1、 Core parameters of customized kneading machine

When customizing a kneading machine, it is usually necessary to clarify the following points with the supplier:

1. Specifications (processing capacity)

·Kneading cylinder capacity: This is the most core specification index, with a wide range of choices, from 2L and 5L used in laboratories to 2000L or even more used in large-scale production.

·Single batch processing capacity: determined based on the weight or volume of each batch of materials. For example, the single batch processing capacity of butyl rubber special models can reach 800-2000kg.

2. Material characteristics (viscosity range)

The viscosity of materials is the key to selecting machine power and structure.

·The kneading machine is designed specifically for high viscosity and high elastic-plastic materials.

·The specific viscosity range varies depending on the model, for example:

·The butyl rubber special machine can process ultra-high viscosity adhesives ranging from 10 ⁵ to 10 ⁶ poise (approximately 10 ^ 7 to 10 ^ 8 cP).

3. Heating and temperature control

·Whether heating is required: depends on the process. Kneading machines can usually be equipped with heating systems.

·Heating methods: Common ones include electric heating, steam heating, circulating heat transfer oil heating, etc. The electric heating temperature can reach 170 ℃.

·Cooling function: Some materials may generate heat during the kneading process or require cooling for discharge, so the machine is often equipped with a water cooling system.

4. Vacuum system

·Do you need to vacuum: Vacuuming during the kneading process can remove bubbles and volatile components from the material, make the product denser, prevent material oxidation, and improve quality. This is particularly important for the production of sealants, silicone rubber and other products.

·Vacuum degree: The common working vacuum degree of vacuum systems can reach -0.094 MPa to -0.095 MPa.

5. 出料方式

The discharge method can affect the convenience of operation and the form of materials, and there are several common ones:

·Hydraulic tilting cylinder: The entire kneading cylinder flips and pours materials, suitable for viscous and non flowing materials, and easy to clean.

·Bottom ball valve discharge: discharge through the valve at the bottom of the cylinder body, suitable for slurry with certain fluidity.

·Screw extrusion discharge: The material is forcibly extruded through a screw, suitable for materials that require shaping (such as strips or blocks) or are extremely viscous.
