Water pressure reducing valve, also known as pressure reducing valve, branch pressure reducing valve, or main pressure reducing valve, is a type of pressure reducing valve that adjusts the flow rate of the medium by controlling the opening and closing of the valve body to reduce the pressure of the medium. At the same time, the opening of the opening and closing of the valve is adjusted by the pressure behind the valve, so that the pressure behind the valve is maintained within a certain range. The type and pressure regulating accuracy of the pressure reducing valve are selected according to the usage requirements, and its diameter is selected based on the required maximum output flow rate.
What should be noted when installing a pressure reducing valve for water? Below, the editor will briefly introduce to you:
1. To prevent overpressure after the valve, a tap water pressure reducing valve should be installed at a distance of not less than 4 meters from the valve outlet.
2. When determining the gas source pressure of the valve, it should be greater than the maximum output pressure by 0.1MPa. The pressure reducing valve is generally installed after the water separator and before the oil mist or setting device, and care should be taken not to connect its inlet and outlet in reverse, otherwise the pressure reducing valve will lose its proper function or even be damaged.
3. During installation, attention should be paid to ensuring that the flow direction of the medium in the pipeline is consistent with the direction of the arrow shown on the valve.
4. For the convenience of operation and maintenance, this valve is generally installed upright on a horizontal pipeline.
