Working principle of vertical electric heating hot water boiler

The working principle of a vertical electric heating hot water boiler can be divided into the following core modules:
1、 Thermal conversion system
1. Energy Conversion
By directly contacting the metal heating element of the electric heating tube with the water inside the boiler, electrical energy is converted into thermal energy. This process does not require combustion media, and the thermal efficiency can reach over 95%.
2. Heating path
When the water flows through the heating tube, it is gradually heated up, and after the water temperature reaches the set value, it is stored in the boiler tank, forming a high-temperature hot water reserve.
2、 Water circulation system
1. Driven by natural convection
Utilizing the density difference between hot and cold water to achieve automatic circulation: cold water sinks to the heating area, and after being heated, its specific gravity decreases and rises to the water storage area, forming a closed circulation loop.
2. Structural design features
Vertical structures usually use a combination of downcomers and risers, and the water flow is distributed to each heating surface through a header to improve heat transfer efficiency.
3、 Intelligent control system
1. Temperature control
Real time monitoring of water temperature through an immersion temperature probe, combined with a PID controller to achieve a precise control range of ± 1 ℃. Automatically start heating when the water temperature is below the set lower limit, and stop working when the upper limit is reached.
2. Human computer interaction
Equipped with a digital operation interface, supporting multiple power adjustments (such as 30%/60%/100% three-stage) and timing functions.
4、 Security protection mechanism
1. Anti dry burning protection
Adopting three-level linkage protection: water level electrode monitoring low water level signal → temperature insurance detection furnace wall overheating → leakage circuit breaker cutting off the main power supply, forming a redundant protection system.
2. Pressure control
The built-in mechanical safety valve and electronic pressure sensor provide dual protection, and the working pressure range is usually 0.4-1.0MPa.
This type of boiler is suitable for small commercial places or home heating systems, with a typical power range of 6-90kW, and can be adapted to 220V/380V voltage environments. Regular cleaning of scale is required during actual operation (it is recommended to acid wash every 6 months) to maintain thermal conductivity efficiency.
