Detailed explanation of the operation steps of electric hot water boiler

1、 Check before startup
1. Environment and Power Supply
Remove debris around the equipment, ensure good ventilation and dry ground.
Check if the power supply voltage is stable, if the wires are not damaged, and if the leakage protection switch is functioning properly.
2. Waterway and equipment status
Open the inlet valve to inject water and observe the water level gauge until it reaches the standard line (it is strictly prohibited to lower it below the lowest water level).
Confirm that there is no leakage in the pipeline and that the valves (drain valve, exhaust valve) are closed.
2、 Start up and operation control
1. Power on and initialization
Close the main power switch, start the control panel, and the indicator light will turn on to enter standby mode.
2. Temperature setting
Select the operating mode (manual/automatic) according to the requirements, and set the target water temperature through the control panel:
Heating system: It is recommended to use radiators at 55-70 ℃ and underfloor heating at 45-60 ℃ (initial operation requires step heating, with 30-40 ℃ set on the first day).
Domestic hot water: The standard setting is 50-60 ℃.
3. Start heating
Press the 'Run' button to start heating, observe the water temperature and pressure gauge rise steadily.
In automatic mode, the device intelligently adjusts the power level (1-6 levels) according to the water temperature.
4. Operation monitoring
Regularly check the water level (maintained above the centerline) and whether the pressure gauge is within the safe range of 0.1-0.2 MPa.
Pay attention to abnormal noise or alarms, and discharge once per shift during high temperature periods (open the discharge valve for 2-3 seconds).
3、 Shutdown operation
1. Normal shutdown
Turn off the heating function and wait for the water temperature to drop below 50 ℃ before stopping the circulating water pump.
Cut off the power switch, close the inlet valve and steam outlet valve.
2. Emergency stop
When encountering overheating, overpressure, leakage, or abnormal noise:
Immediately press and hold the "emergency stop button" to turn off the power;
Close the fuel valve (applicable to gas/oil furnaces) and report for maintenance.
4、 Daily maintenance
1. Regular maintenance
Clean the filter screen and heating pipe scale every 2 months, and check the tightness of the wire joints.
During winter shutdown, drain the stored water and activate the anti freezing mode (keep the power on, water temperature ≥ 5 ℃).
2. Energy saving techniques
Use the timer function to set the temperature for different time periods (such as lowering it by 10 ℃ at night);
Long term low load operation can activate the "Eco mode" to optimize energy consumption.
Key safety reminder: It is strictly prohibited to directly replenish cold water when there is a shortage of water (which may cause pipe bursting). Slowly inject water after the boiler has cooled down; Overpressure exhaust requires avoiding the direction of steam injection from the side.
