1. Mold selection and installation
Select the appropriate tablet type based on the material characteristics (such as choosing beveled flat tablets for chewable tablets and shallow concave tablets for traditional Chinese medicine tablets), avoiding deep concave types to reduce die damage.
When replacing the mold, if the middle mold gets stuck, it needs to be lightly tapped with a rod of the same size and cannot be forcibly disassembled.
2. Operating standards
Before pressing, it is necessary to conduct an empty vehicle pressure test to confirm that there are no abnormalities before proceeding with the formal operation, in order to avoid damage to the mold caused by the top vehicle.
When manually pressing the tablet, it is necessary to ensure that the upper punch rod is in the raised position before starting to prevent the top of the vehicle.
3. Maintenance and Preservation
After use, the mold needs to be cleaned and coated with food grade lubricating oil, stored in a dedicated protective box, and labeled with specifications and dimensions.
When the mold is not in use for a long time, it should be removed and soaked in oil for storage to avoid rusting.
4. Safety and material requirements
Do not touch the tablet pressing room with hands or tools during operation, and power off is required when replacing the mold.
The material must not contain metal or hard impurities to avoid damaging the mold.
5. Exception handling
If there is a toppling during compression, immediately turn off the power and manually adjust the upward position. In severe cases, the mold needs to be disassembled and cleaned.
Regularly check the quality of tablets (hardness, smoothness) and adjust the pressure or material formula in a timely manner.
6. Other details
The compression speed needs to be adjusted according to the characteristics of the material (such as poor viscosity and low speed for large diameter materials).
The tablet pressing room needs to be sealed with organic glass to prevent contamination.
