The maintenance of microporous membrane precision filters should revolve around filter element protection, cleaning and disinfection, and storage management. The specific methods are as follows:
1、 Daily cleaning and disinfection
1. Cleaning steps:
Thoroughly clean the internal and external components before long-term use, remove the filter element and rinse it with clean water or neutral detergent, avoid using corrosive liquids such as hydrochloric acid, and the water temperature should not be too high (to prevent deformation of polypropylene).
If impurities (such as carbon particles and protein residues) adhere to the filter membrane after filtration, it can be soaked and cleaned with enzyme solution, or soaked in a 20% concentration acid-base solution (not exceeding 24 hours), and then rinsed clean with deionized water.
2. Disinfection treatment:
Polypropylene filter cartridge: Steam disinfection is recommended at 0.1MPa, 130 ℃ for 20 minutes, or treated in a high-temperature cabinet at 121 ℃;
Polysulfone/PTFE filter cartridge: can withstand 142 ℃, 0.28MPa steam pressure, and last for 30 minutes.
2、 Storage Management
1. Short term discontinuation: The filter element can be soaked in clean water or a solution containing antibacterial agents (such as 10ppm sodium hypochlorite) to prevent drying and microbial growth.
2. Long term disuse: Clean and dry the filter element, seal and store it to avoid contamination and physical impact; The shell should be thoroughly dried and stored in a well ventilated environment.
3、 Replacement and inspection
1. Replacement timing:
When the filter membrane is damaged, deformed or blocked (pressure difference>0.2MPa or sudden drop in flow rate), it needs to be replaced immediately;
Some materials, such as polypropylene and bag filters, cannot be reused and need to be replaced regularly.
2. Sealing inspection:
Monthly sealing test: After assembly, fill water and turn on the suction pump to observe if the water level drops. If it drops, check if the sealing gasket is damaged or improperly installed.
4、 Operation precautions
1. Avoid impact: Control the flow rate during filtration to prevent membrane rupture caused by high-pressure impact or reverse pressure;
2. Correct installation: When replacing the filter element, ensure that the O-ring is wetted and sealed in place to avoid liquid leakage;
3. Regular inspection: Check the appearance of components (such as filter cups and interfaces) weekly for cracks or deformations, and promptly repair or replace them.
Maintenance core: By standardizing cleaning, reasonable disinfection, and scientific storage, the lifespan of the filter element can be extended and the filtration accuracy can be guaranteed, while avoiding secondary pollution or equipment damage caused by improper operation.
