Process flow of swing pellet machine

The process flow of the swing pellet machine can be divided into the following steps:
1、 Raw material processing
1. Raw material pretreatment
Extract or refine according to the characteristics of the material (such as solvent extraction for effective ingredients in traditional Chinese medicine), and control the fineness and humidity to meet the granulation requirements.
2. Accessory selection
Sugar powder, dextrin, β - cyclodextrin, etc. are commonly used as excipients, and effervescent particles require the addition of effervescent disintegrants.
2、 Preparation before granulation
1. Equipment inspection
Check the integrity of the screen mesh, clean the equipment to avoid cross contamination, and confirm the lubrication status.
2. Screen installation
Select the appropriate mesh size based on the target particle size and install it correctly onto the granulator.
3. Parameter adjustment
Set the roller pressure, cutter speed, and feed speed through the control panel, and conduct a no-load trial run to confirm the stability of the equipment.
3、 Granulation process
1. Soft material preparation
Mix the raw materials and auxiliary materials evenly, add wetting agents (such as water, ethanol) to make a soft material that can be squeezed into a ball and pressed to disperse.
2. Swing granulation
After the soft material is fed into the hopper, it is extruded back and forth by the drum and formed through the screen mesh. The single feeding amount is controlled to be less than 1/2 of the hopper volume.
3. Initial particle inspection
Take samples to check particle size, tightness, and uniformity, and adjust the sieve or parameters if necessary.
4、 Post processing procedure
1. Dry
Wet particles need to be transferred to drying equipment (such as fluidized bed) to remove moisture, and the drying temperature and time should be controlled.
2. Whole grain
After drying, the particles may clump and need to be sieved again or processed by a granulator to improve uniformity.
3. Packaging
Pack according to the process requirements into sealed containers to avoid moisture absorption or contamination.
5、 Precautions
1. Monitor equipment vibration, noise, and particle quality during operation, and immediately shut down for troubleshooting in case of abnormalities;
2. Thoroughly clean the equipment after each batch and regularly lubricate and maintain key components;
3. Semi solid or high viscosity materials are not suitable for this equipment.
