1、 Core structure composition
1. Drive system
The main shaft is driven to rotate by a three-phase asynchronous motor through a V-belt and a first stage cylindrical gear. Three sets of cam mechanisms are installed on the main shaft to control the timing actions of the filling, pressing, and discharging processes.
2. Mold system
The flower basket mold design adopts a circular array, and the mold cavity cooperates with the upper and lower punches to form a pressing space. The mold is equipped with springs for elastic demolding.
3. Feeding device
Uniform filling of materials is achieved through spiral feeding or gravity feeding systems, requiring a particle fine powder content of ≤ 10% to ensure fluidity.
2、 Process flow
1. Material filling
The feeding device quantitatively delivers powdered/granular materials to the mold cavity, and the filling depth is controlled by adjusting the height of the lower punch rod.
2. Unidirectional compression
The upper punch is vertically pressed down by the cam drive (pressure range 20-60kN), while the lower punch remains fixed, forming a unidirectional pressure mode, resulting in uneven density distribution inside the tablet.
3. Elastic demolding
After the compression is completed, the flower basket mold pushes out the tablets through the built-in spring reset to avoid sticking or damage.
4. Tablet discharge
The formed tablets slide into the collection container through the dispensing guide rail, and the dispensing speed is synchronously adjusted with the spindle speed.
3、 Key parameter adjustment
1. Pressure control: By adjusting the contact angle between the pressure wheel and the mold, the effective pressure value can be changed;
2. Thickness adjustment: Adjust the positioning height of the punch rod in the mold hole to control the thickness and weight of the tablet;
3. Production capacity: The spindle speed range is usually 15-35rpm, with a maximum of 3000 pieces per minute (with significant differences among different models).
