Stainless steel reaction kettle is one of the common equipment in chemical production, mainly used for various chemical reactions. The material used for its production is stainless steel, which has good corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, and has a hard texture and strong plasticity, making it an ideal material for chemical production.
A stainless steel reaction kettle is composed of a kettle body, transmission device, heating device, stirring device, sealing device, feeding and discharging device, and other parts. According to different production needs, reaction vessels are usually divided into the following types:
1. Vertical reactor: With a small volume and small footprint, it is suitable for small-scale experiments, pilot tests, and small-scale production.
2. Horizontal reactor: Large in volume, suitable for large-scale production, but occupying a large area.
3. Double layer reactor: The air layer between the inner and outer layers can be used for insulation and cooling, suitable for chemical reactions that require temperature control.
4. Pressure reactor: capable of conducting chemical reactions at high temperatures and pressures, suitable for catalytic reactions at high temperatures and synthetic reactions at high pressures.
The process principle of stainless steel reaction kettle is mainly divided into the following two parts:
1、 Mixing
The stirring process in stainless steel reaction vessels is an important part of chemical reactions, aimed at ensuring uniform mixing of reactants and accelerating reaction rates. Common stirring methods include mechanical stirring and gas stirring.
1. Mechanical stirring: It is the use of a stirrer to perform mechanical motion inside a reaction vessel, allowing the reactants to mix evenly. Mechanical stirring can be divided into several methods such as frame stirring, propeller stirring, and anchor propeller stirring, which can be selected according to different reaction properties and production needs.
2. Gas stirring: It is a method of stirring by blowing gas into a reaction vessel, commonly used in reactions that require uniform addition of gas.
2、 Heating and cooling
Heating and cooling in stainless steel reactors are important means of controlling reaction rate and temperature. Common heating methods include electric heating, steam heating, and thermal oil heating, which can be selected according to different reaction requirements. There are also various cooling methods, including natural cooling, water cooling, and thermal oil cooling.
