The precautions for using a rotary granulator mainly include the following aspects:
1、 Preparation before operation
1. Equipment inspection: Confirm that the power circuit is normal, the lubrication system (such as the spindle and gearbox) has sufficient oil, and check whether the screen mesh is securely installed.
2. Material pretreatment: Ensure that the humidity of the mixture is moderate (10% -15%), and additives (such as β - cyclodextrin) can be added to viscous materials.
2、 Precautions during operation
1. Start up process: Run without load for 1-2 minutes, observe no abnormalities, and then evenly feed to avoid overload.
2. Parameter adjustment: Adjust the roller gap (usually 0.1-0.3mm) and speed according to the material characteristics. High viscosity materials require low-speed operation.
3. Safety protection: It is strictly prohibited to use hands or tools to pull materials. Protective devices must be equipped to prevent contact with rotating parts.
3、 Shutdown and maintenance
1. Cleaning requirements: Clean up residual materials in a timely manner after production, and rinse the sieve with purified water for corrosive materials.
2. Long term disuse: Fill the sieve with oil containing materials to prevent rust, and cut off the power supply.
4、 Other key points
1. Screen maintenance: Regularly check for wear or blockage, replace screens with different aperture sizes to adjust particle size.
2. Exception handling: If the particles are loose or blocked, adjust the moisture or roller pressure, and clean up impurities.
The above measures can ensure the stable operation of the equipment and extend its service life.
