Precautions for operating laboratory rotary tablet press

The laboratory rotary tablet press complies with GMP standards. The tablet press room is separated from the transmission mechanism, and the parts that come into contact with the drug are made of stainless steel materials or have special surface treatments, which are non-toxic and corrosion-resistant. The tablet press room is sealed with transparent organic glass to prevent contamination. The surface is smooth everywhere and easy to handle.
Precautions for operating the laboratory rotary tablet press:
1、 Before starting up: do a good job of safety preparation
Equipment inspection: Confirm that the die is not deformed, the turntable rotates flexibly, and the pressure wheel and guide rail are lubricated sufficiently. Test whether the emergency stop button and protective cover are sensitive and effective.
Materials and Environment: Remove metal impurities from materials, and humidified or sealed materials that are prone to dust should be added. Maintain ventilation in the work area and ensure that there is no oil or water accumulation on the ground.
Personnel preparation: Operators must undergo training, wear work hats and anti slip gloves, and are strictly prohibited from wearing jewelry or loose clothing.
2、 During operation: strictly adhere to operating standards
Start sequence: First turn on the power and lubrication system, run it for 3-5 minutes without load, and confirm that there are no abnormalities before feeding.
Parameter adjustment: The pressure and speed should be gradually increased, and it is strictly prohibited to adjust the parameters significantly in an instant.
Feeding and addition: A closed hopper is used, and direct feeding by hand is prohibited. The material in the hopper should be kept sufficient but not overflow.
Real time monitoring: Pay attention to the sound and temperature of equipment operation, and immediately shut down if any abnormalities are found. The dust removal system needs to be turned on during the production of easily dusty materials.
3、 After shutdown: standardized operation and maintenance
Equipment cleaning: Clean the equipment after each shift to prevent material accumulation.
Maintenance: Regularly replace worn parts to ensure good operation of the equipment.
Emergency response: In case of an emergency, immediately press the emergency stop button and follow the emergency plan for handling.
4、 Other precautions
Safety protection: Ensure that the equipment grounding wire is in good condition, and operators should wear protective equipment to avoid direct contact with rotating parts.
Material requirements: Use dry and flowable materials, avoid using materials with high humidity or strong viscosity.
Operating standards: Operators should be familiar with the equipment's user manual and safety regulations, and strictly follow the operating procedures for operation.
