The structure and working principle of capsule sorting and polishing machine can be divided into the following two parts:
1、 Main structural components
1. Core polishing components
Polishing cylinder: an inner cylinder made of stainless steel material, with a spiral spring on the surface to guide the movement of the capsule, and a hole on the cylinder wall for discharging powder debris;
Rotating brush: installed inside the polishing cylinder, driven by a motor to generate rotational friction, achieving surface polishing of the capsule;
Sealed cylinder: wraps around the polishing cylinder, receives the powder that falls off during the polishing process, and recovers it through negative pressure.
2. Sorting and Recycling System
Sorting device (waste remover): uses negative pressure airflow to separate light unqualified capsules from heavy qualified capsules;
Vacuum cleaner/collection box: recycle unqualified capsules and powder debris.
3. Auxiliary module
Hopper and discharge hopper: responsible for feeding and discharging qualified capsules respectively;
Variable frequency control system: adjust the brush speed to adapt to different working conditions;
Mobile rack: equipped with rollers for easy equipment relocation.
2、 Working principle and process
1. Polishing stage
The high-speed rotation of the brush drives the capsule to perform circular spiral motion along the polishing cylinder wall. The surface of the capsule shell is polished by friction with the brush and cylinder wall, while the powder debris enters the sealing cylinder through the small holes on the cylinder wall.
2. Sorting stage
The polished capsules enter the sorting device, and under the action of negative pressure airflow, lightweight empty shells and damaged capsules are sucked into the collection box. Qualified capsules continue to fall into the discharge hopper due to their heavy weight.
The sorting device can automatically identify and remove abnormal capsules with separated cap bodies and insufficient filling capacity.
3. Recycling and linkage
The debris and powder are collected by the vacuum cleaner through a sealed cylinder.
The discharge end can be connected to a metal detection machine or a filling machine to achieve automated production line integration.
Note: The whole machine is made of 304 stainless steel material, which meets GMP standards and supports quick disassembly and cleaning.
