The structural principle of stainless steel bag filters can be summarized into the following two parts:
1、 Structural composition
1. Stainless steel shell: made of corrosion-resistant materials such as 304 and 316L, with high temperature resistance and mechanical strength, suitable for high-pressure sealed environments;
2. Filter bag: The core filter element is woven from fibers such as polypropylene and polyester, and different filtration accuracies (such as 0.5 μ m) are selected according to the needs;
3. Supporting basket: made of stainless steel material, placed inside the filter bag to prevent deformation and ensure even distribution of filter media;
4. Sealing system: including top cover sealing ring and quick opening mechanism design, ensuring equipment sealing and facilitating quick replacement of filter bags;
5. Inlet and outlet: equipped with flange or quick connect interface, fluid enters from the top and passes through the filter bag before being discharged from the bottom.
2、 Working principle
1. Filtering stage: The liquid to be processed enters the shell through the inlet, penetrates the filter bag under pressure, and impurities are trapped in the bag. The cleaning liquid is guided to the outlet through the supporting basket;
2. Differential pressure monitoring: During the filtration process, the filter bag gradually becomes clogged, and the differential pressure sensor triggers a warning signal to prompt the replacement of the filter bag;
3. Cleaning/Replacement: After closing the inlet valve, open the quick opening mechanism, remove the old filter bag and replace it with a new one. Some models support automatic backwashing to discharge the filter cake. This process does not require cleaning the shell, has short operation time, and low material loss.
