1、 Instructions for using a flat blade pump

1. Power on preparation

Pump exhaust: Before starting up, the pump should be vented first. When venting, the inlet valve should be opened to allow the medium to enter the pump chamber. If the pump body is above the liquid level, the pump should be filled with the conveying liquid.

2. Startup and shutdown:

When starting up, the starter motor should be started with the outlet valve closed to minimize the starting power. Before stopping the pump, the outlet valve should also be closed to prevent the backflow of liquid in the discharge pipeline, which could damage the impeller due to impact.

3. Flow regulation:

When the pump is running, all inlet valves should be opened, and it is not allowed to adjust the pump flow rate with the suction valve to avoid cavitation.

During the startup process, always pay attention to the vibration and noise of the pump, as well as any abnormal phenomena such as overload. If there are any, stop the pump immediately for inspection.

4. Shutdown storage:

When the operation is interrupted for a long time, the drain valve can be opened to drain the residual liquid in the pump body, and rust prevention treatment should be carried out if necessary.

5. Precautions for dual machine sealed flat blade pump:

A. It must be ensured that there is cooling water before use;

B. The working pressure of cooling circulating water shall not exceed 0.1MPa;

C. The temperature of the cooling water shall not exceed 40 ℃;

D. Oil should be added to the sealed box once a week.

2、 Maintenance and upkeep matters

Monitoring and maintaining the working status according to regulations is beneficial for extending the service life of pumps and connected motors. The relevant explanations are summarized as follows:

1. Inspection of general projects:

a、 The pump should not operate continuously at a calibrated flow rate below 30%. If it is necessary to operate under this condition, a bypass pipeline should be installed at the pump outlet to meet the requirements of the operating conditions;

b、 The motor cannot be overloaded;

c、 Pay attention to the pressure gauge and temperature gauge;

d、 Regularly inspect and repair, pay attention to liquid leakage, heating, and other situations, and maintain the normal operation of the pump.

2. Maintenance:

1. Regularly check the wear of the impeller, mechanical seal, and sealing ring, and replace them in a timely manner if necessary;

2. Regularly check the lubricating grease and bearing heating and wear in the support, and replace them in a timely manner if necessary.
