Process principle of horizontal pipeline colloid mill
Date: 2024-03-19Read: 9
Colloidal mill is an efficient, uniform, and stable particle crushing technology. It is mainly composed of grinding rollers, grinding discs, and scrapers. In the grinding groove formed between the grinding roller and the grinding disc, the material is constantly subjected to shear force, extrusion force, and friction force, thereby achieving crushing. Colloidal mills can be widely used in fields such as food, pharmaceuticals, and chemical engineering.
Traditional colloid mill equipment needs to be installed in the workshop and fed into the mill rollers through pipelines, but it encounters the following problems: 1. Limited production capacity of a single machine; 2. Large footprint; 3. The production process is complex; 4. High technical proficiency is required.
In order to solve these problems, horizontal pipeline colloid mills have emerged. The horizontal pipeline colloid mill directly installs the grinding roller, grinding disc, scraper and other components in the pipeline, which can achieve fast and stable crushing of materials, and control the feeding and discharging speed through a frequency converter to achieve automated production.
The process principle of horizontal pipeline colloid mill:
1. Material transportation and mixing: Before the raw materials of the pipeline colloid mill equipment are fed into the grinding roller, various different raw materials need to be mixed according to the required formula using a pump, and pushed to the grinding roller area through the inlet to ensure that each discrete particle can receive sufficient shear action.
2. Grinding treatment: After entering the grinding roller, the raw materials are ground into small particles, and this cell structure and higher surface area enable them to mix better with other raw materials.
3. Grinding filtration: Use a micro filter to filter the grinding slurry to remove residual particles and maintain its uniformity.
4. Grinding adjustment: The different types and proportions of raw materials entering the grinding process will affect their solidification time, and a closed tank should be used for uniform mixing.
5. Grinding slurry storage and transportation: Grinding slurry needs to be stored in a closed container before subsequent steps, and then transported to the required processing location through a conveying pump.
