The high-power stainless steel colloid mill is mainly composed of grinding head components, base transmission parts, and dedicated motors. The core lies in the combination of the dynamic grinding disc and the static grinding disc, which form a precisely matched working area. When the equipment is running, the motor drives the fixed teeth (usually the static grinding disc) and the moving teeth (the moving grinding disc) to rotate at high speed relative to each other, with a speed of up to 14000 RPM. This high-speed motion generates strong mechanical forces.
Mechanical mechanism: When materials pass through the gap between the dynamic and static grinding discs, they will be subjected to multiple external forces. Including shear force, friction force, and impact effects caused by high-frequency vibration. These forces work together on the material particles, effectively dispersing, emulsifying, crushing, and achieving homogenization treatment. In addition, high-speed rotation can also form a vortex flow field, further enhancing the mixing effect on materials.
Adjustment adaptability: The clearance between the stator and rotor of the equipment can be adjusted according to actual needs to meet the processing requirements of different particle sizes, with a discharge particle size of 0.5 μ m. This characteristic enables it to flexibly respond to various processing techniques ranging from delicate to extensive.
Precautions for using high-power stainless steel colloid mill:
1. In terms of safety protection
-Wearing personal protective equipment: Operators must wear protective goggles, earplugs, work clothes, and other personal protective equipment to prevent injury from flying debris from high-speed rotating parts and reduce the harm of noise to the body. When maintaining and repairing equipment, gloves should also be worn to avoid hand injuries.
-Familiarity with emergency braking device: Understand and be familiar with the position and usage of the emergency braking button of the equipment, so as to quickly stop the operation of the equipment in case of emergencies and avoid the escalation of accidents. At the same time, it is necessary to keep the work area clean and orderly, and avoid tripping personnel or affecting the operating line of sight with debris.
2. In terms of operational standards
-Strictly prohibit idling and exceeding the time limit: Strictly control the empty running time of the vehicle to not exceed the specified value (usually not more than 15 seconds), in order to avoid damaging the mechanical seal and other components. The equipment can only be started for normal production after confirming the entry of materials.
-Pay attention to material purity: Hard substances such as quartz, broken glass, and metal shavings are not allowed to mix into the processed materials, otherwise it will damage the dynamic and static grinding discs, reduce the service life and grinding effect of the equipment. Before use, the material should be screened or filtered to remove impurities.
-Maintain smooth discharge: When the machine is working, the discharge port should be kept open or discharged through a circulation pipe to ensure that the material can be discharged smoothly and avoid pressure rise and malfunction caused by accumulation in the equipment. If the discharge is not smooth, it should be checked and cleared of blockages in a timely manner.
3. Maintenance and upkeep aspects
-Cooling water supply guarantee: Connecting cooling water is one of the important conditions to ensure the normal operation of equipment. It helps maintain the appropriate temperature of materials and equipment, prevent material deterioration or equipment damage caused by overheating. During use, always pay attention to the inflow and outflow of cooling water to ensure unobstructed water flow.
-Regular cleaning and maintenance: After each use, the interior of the equipment should be cleaned in a timely manner to prevent material residue inside the machine, so as to avoid leakage caused by mechanical seal adhesion. Regularly check the wear and tear of the equipment, and replace severely worn components such as grinding discs and sealing rings in a timely manner to ensure the continuous and stable operation of the equipment.
-Avoid violent repairs: When repairing machines, avoid using a hammer to strike directly. It is recommended to use a wooden hammer or a wooden block to lightly tap to prevent damage to internal components. For complex fault problems, professional technicians should be responsible for maintenance and handling.
4. In terms of electrical safety
-Voltage matching and grounding protection: Select the appropriate power supply based on the rated voltage of the equipment, commonly available in two models: 380V and 220V. At the same time, it is necessary to take protective grounding measures for the body to prevent electric shock accidents from occurring. When connecting the power cord, make sure the plug is in good contact with the socket to avoid sparking caused by virtual connection.
-Confirmation of rotor rotation: Note that the direction of rotor rotation should be consistent with the arrow on the base (usually clockwise rotation). If the rotation is incorrect, it may cause the equipment to malfunction or even damage. Before starting or after replacing the motor, be sure to carefully check whether the rotor's direction of rotation is correct.
