The maintenance of horizontal grinding machines should be combined with daily inspections and regular maintenance. The following are the key points:
1、 Daily maintenance
1. Cooling system inspection
Observe the coolant circulation status through the sight glass to ensure the use of coolant compatible with the material and avoid high temperature losses. The multi-layer cooling system requires regular cleaning of the cooling box, replacement of coolant, and keeping the cooling pump and filter unobstructed.
2. Pressure and temperature monitoring
Real time monitoring of grinding chamber pressure and temperature, triggering automatic protection mechanism if exceeding the set value to prevent equipment overload. At the same time, check if the seal pressure is abnormal to avoid seal failure.
3. Lubrication management
Regularly check the lubricating oil level of the main bearings and transmission gears (maintain at 1/2-2/3 scale), and replace immediately if the oil is cloudy or turns black. Lubrication pipeline leakage requires fastening of joints or replacement of seals.
2、 Regular maintenance
1. Grinding media processing
Clean and screen the grinding medium every 4-6 months to prevent impurities from affecting the grinding effect. At the same time, clean up the residual materials in the cylinder to avoid drying and damaging the equipment.
2. Maintenance of transmission components
Check the gear mesh clearance and the elastic pin of the coupling. If there is any abnormal noise or wear, stop the machine for adjustment. When the lining plate wears down to 2/3 of its original thickness, it should be replaced.
3. Hydraulic system maintenance
Clean the oil pump, oil filter, and oil circuit to ensure that the oil quality and quantity meet the standards, and the hydraulic pressure meets the regulations. During long-term shutdown, the grinding fixture needs to be cleaned with ultrasonic waves and coated with protective oil.
3、 Long term shutdown maintenance
Disassemble the equipment and conduct a comprehensive inspection of the cylinder structure, replace the main bearings and verify the transmission system to restore optimal performance.
