1. Installation base: Before installation, check the direction of the inlet and outlet clearly. The liquid should flow from the outside of the filter element to the center, and the pipeline connected to the filter element socket is the outlet. There are arrows indicating the flow direction on the filter pipeline, do not connect them incorrectly.
2. Install filter element: The 222 socket is a plug-in type, and the 226 socket is a snap in type. If it is a multi center, the pressure plate should be placed on the fins and the bolts should be tightened moderately (the filter core will elongate under high temperature, and if the pressure plate is too tight, the filter core will have no extension space, which will cause distortion deformation and affect the filtration accuracy).
3. Install the outer cover and connect it to the base with clamps (single core) or bolts (multi-core) for sealing. Pay attention to placing the sealing gasket flat; Check that there is no leakage at the sealing point.
4. Filter disinfection: New filters must be cleaned thoroughly before use. The filter used for sterilization should be disinfected and sterilized, and the disinfection work should generally be carried out on the production line to avoid external pollution. On site steam disinfection should strictly control the steam pressure and pressure difference to avoid damaging the filter element due to excessive steam pressure and pressure difference.
5. When filtering liquids, the exhaust valve at the top of the filter should be opened first to exhaust the gas inside the cylinder and allow the liquid to fill the cylinder, otherwise it will affect the flow rate.
6. When filtering media through a filter, there will be a pressure drop due to resistance (i.e. the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet). In order to overcome this resistance and maintain sufficient flow, it is necessary to have sufficient working pressure when necessary. We provide corresponding temperature and pressure limit values for each filter element, please use them according to the requirements. To avoid excessive flow impact on the filter element, be sure to open the valve slowly!
7. When using a self selected pump, please pay attention to matching the flow rate and pressure. It is advisable to choose self-priming pumps such as vortex pumps and infusion pumps.
8. When shutting down, the filtered liquid should be drained. If the time is not long, the filter does not need to be opened; If the time is long or the filtrate is not suitable for long-term storage, the filter or filter element should be cleaned.
