The use of flammable storage cabinets must strictly follow safety regulations, and the following are key precautions:
1、 Site selection and placement requirements
1. Safe distance
The cabinet should be kept away from sources of fire, heat, and open flame equipment. It should be at least 0.5 meters away from walls, radiators, and other heat sources. When stored outdoors, it should be at least 30 meters away from open flame points.
2. Ground stability
It needs to be placed horizontally on a leak proof floor, and the bottom legs of the cabinet can be adjusted for balance to avoid tilting and causing liquid leakage.
2、 Cabinet operation specifications
1. Classified storage
Only store flammable liquids with a flash point ≤ 45 ℃ (such as gasoline, alcohol), and avoid mixing oxidants or strong acids. The storage capacity of a single cabinet should be ≤ 20L.
2. Sealing and labeling
The container must be sealed with the label facing outward; A "flammable" warning sign and risk notification card (including chemical name and emergency phone number) should be posted outside the cabinet.
3、 Safety protection measures
1. Ventilation and electrostatic protection
The ventilation openings on both sides and the top of the cabinet should be kept unobstructed, equipped with anti-static wires (grounding resistance ≤ 4 Ω), and the static electricity export function should be regularly tested.
2. Fire and explosion prevention
Mixing and blending operations are prohibited inside the cabinet. Open flames or spark equipment are prohibited within 1 meter of the cabinet, and fire blankets and dry powder fire extinguishers (≥ 8kg) are provided.
4、 Daily management
1. Double person double lock
The cabinet door needs to be equipped with dual locks, managed by a dedicated person for keys, and the access records need to be updated in real time.
2. Emergency response to leakage
The capacity of the anti leakage tray at the bottom of the cabinet is ≥ 1.1 times that of the maximum container. In case of leakage, immediately use absorbent cotton to treat it and start the exhaust system.
5、 Maintenance and Inspection
Check temperature and humidity (recommended 10-30 ℃), grounding devices, and ventilation systems weekly, and conduct leak emergency drills every six months.
