In order to meet the increasingly strict environmental requirements for post-treatment production of silver powder, Wuxi Shuangrui Machinery Co., Ltd. has developed and designed the Shuangrui Crystal Filtration, Washing, and Drying Integrated Machine, which replaces the existing plate and frame filter press for the filtration, washing, and drying of coarse silver powder. After a period of trial operation, practical application in production has proven that the new three in one equipment can significantly reduce the on-site ammonia concentration and achieve good results.
The precautions for using the crystallization filtration washing and drying integrated machine mainly include the following steps:
1、 Equipment preparation and inspection
• Inert treatment: When it comes to the production of hazardous chemicals, it is necessary to first evacuate and then inject nitrogen to replace oxygen, repeating until the oxygen content meets the standard to prevent explosion risks.
Component inspection: Confirm that the tank body, chassis, and mixing system are securely installed, with a focus on checking the status of the metal sintering mesh filtration system and hydraulic quick opening device to avoid looseness and wear.
Sealing verification: Regularly test the sealing performance of the equipment to prevent leakage of toxic/flammable materials.
2、 Filtering operation
• Foreign object control: Remove large impurities or hard blocks from the material before filtration to prevent filter clogging or equipment damage.
• External force selection: Priority should be given to vacuum filtration or pressure filtration to avoid crystal breakage or agglomeration caused by high shear equipment (such as centrifuges).
3、 Washing operation
1. Solvent selection:
Use low surface tension, high boiling point solvents (such as isopropanol) to reduce the risk of drying and clumping.
Select agitation washing (with good purification effect) or displacement washing (to reduce crystal wear) based on material characteristics.
2. Uniformity control:
By using a 360 ° rotating spray device to level the filter cake, ensure even distribution of the washing solution and avoid residual impurities.
4、 Drying operation
Program linkage: Synchronize the vacuum pumping and heating functions to maintain a constant temperature state to improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
Mode adaptation: Choose low-temperature drying for easily deformable materials to avoid high temperature induced crystal bridging or ball formation.
Differential pressure balance: During vacuum drying, it is necessary to set up a safety interlock between the vacuum valve and the balance valve to prevent damage to the filter medium (such as metal sintered mesh).
5、 Safety and Maintenance
1. Emergency protection:
Familiarize yourself with the location of the emergency stop button and quickly cut off the power in case of abnormalities.
2. Cleaning management:
After each batch is completed, start the CIP online cleaning system, focusing on cleaning residual areas such as mixing blades and filters.
Regularly replace the vacuum pipeline filter element to prevent dust blockage.
Lubrication and maintenance: Regularly lubricate the transmission parts to reduce wear and tear.
